Back when this forum started, the Admins ran a league which I won with my 3rd edition KoS. I haven't played an all mounted army in years, so I decided to build up some trukks and dust off Da Blitzkrieg Burnaz.

Big Mek on Bike with KFF and kombi scorcha

Love it, though might be worthwhile to try and get that second KFF mek on a bike, so he can baby sit the big trakks.  (you can't repair on the inside, but can on the outside, making him far more useful outside a vehicle then in).

Wonderful theme. One issue: with a Supa Skorcha the Transport Capacity of the Big Trakks is 6, so the Grots can't mount up! Maybe just use the points for a kombi-skorcha on that one nob, and big choppas on the Meks?

The Universe is Orkdom.

QUOTE (Ork Codex 4th Edition)
Gork and Mork are divine powerhouses, deities so strong they are never truly defeated. They simply shrug off the attacks of other gods with a raucous laugh. Gork grins, bearing his long teeth, and lands a mighty blow on his adversary's head with a spiked club the size of a comet. Mork, the master of cunning, waits until his foe isn't looking before clobbering him with a low blow.

Slightly off topic, what models are you using for the big trakks? I started to scratch build one, but it was too weedy so I am back at zero.

Orkdom. I guess the gretchin will hide in the backfield.

Goreshrek. I scratchbuilt 3 gobsmashas (a second edition ork tank.) I use them as the trakks.

lachin:

thanks. I was using a very old OOP predator as the base, but it seemed too small.  Are your battlewagon sized? Thinking of going with some kind of WW1 tank kit at 1/35 scale.

I have never seen the actual FW models, no good idea of how big they are.

Mine are a little shorter than battlewagon sized.
