The buggies are based on some monster truck toys from walmart. Its the under carriage with the truck body removed.

Wingnutz, Mattel Hot Wheels makes the monster trucks (the Monster Jam line). Matchbox makes a variety of vehicles with similar, but bigger tires. Both come with suspension detail cast into the under carriage. They ought to go for 2-3 pounds in the U.K. Monster trucks are a U.S. phenomena, I'm not sure how popular they are across the pond.  :? You may have to find them on eBay.

P.S. Warning! The tires are real  hard to remove from the axles. :yes  Heavy persuasion may be necessary. :bang :bang :bang

I didn't even bother with that. I took the die cast cab off of the truck and built the buggies up around them.

Smart move, real smart. :thumbs I wanted the tires for other projects, so I had to persuade them. :stomphq: I haven't thrown away the chassis, they may become buggies yet! :biggrin Thanks!!
