The current one yes.

Old ones it depends on your personal preference, use the one it came on or a bigger one. My old RT weirdboy uses a standard 25 but the warphead is on 40.

I moved all non character orks to 32mm, and all 3W or higher character orks to 40mm.  Looks great and they actually fit on the bases for once.  Note this will give you a slight disadvantage in tournament play, which is why no one cares if you do it.

You rebased all of your models to the 32mm?!?  You crazy!

I can't do that.  It makes sense for some models that are legendary for their base overhang like Nobz and lootas though.

After re-basing all my heresy era Ultra-Beakies, and my 40k Space Wolves, I don't think that My mental state would survive upgrading all my Orks to 32mm bases.

Although I do plan on re-basing my Ork Storm-Boyz to 32mm, as they will be more stable on the larger size base.

Onwards and Upwards.

I left the boyz on 25's (I have way to many) but I did rebase all the unit nobs to 32's. Actually I put all nobs on 32's and all characters on 40's (or bigger larger).

You people are crazy. Once a model is done, it's done. I'm not hauling them off their bases and redoing 300 painted orks.

I was redoing mine Philly, so it was an easy decision for me.  (I sold/gave away my old boyz, and started the mob from scratch).

Actually I found some pretty good base extenders which work wonders...no need to strip the models off the base and with the "pebbly" base I use it's just easy to cover the (actually mostly non-existent) cracks.

I'm not rebasing all of my orks, and I must say sometimes keeping on with the old basing method is sad since my skills have improved a bit, but in the end the complete result is good enough for me so yeah, it's just the way it is.

Maybe my beakie army will be rebase since it never actually was painted...we'll see...as I have already too many projects going on.

Det, which base extenders did you get?
