Thanks for sharing I do really like the buggies and warbike conversations. They all look awesome. Going to use some of your ideas when it comes time to build my buggies and warbikes. Excited to see them all built and painted.

Finished building my Snakebite Nob Biker

FpebwMD.jpg

Really happy with how his stance/position looks, feels like he's charging in :)

Also got some more objective markers done!

87337Hb.jpg

2 more scrap piles and a some various explosives

That is off to a really nice start - just how I imagined a SnakeBite warboss should look :thumbs

Thanks, He is technically a Nob, but his boar is from the Sigmar Warboss :)

Thanks, Yeah, steal away!! :D I'm pretty excited to see them painted too ;)

All of this work is very good!  Skartoof definitely captures the kind of character you're trying to work into your army, so well done!  That Squig!  *anime squees*  adorable!

Quick update on the Snakebite Nob

15kodaY.jpg

Aside from a few small details, I've finished his Cyboar!! Plan to get the rest done over the weekend

Thanks heaps!, I'm glad the character is coming across :) Yeah, I think hes really cute too but I can't figure out why? all i did was put goggles on him. I wish there were more reasons to make squigs in 40k. :( Although I'm sure I can come up with some conversions to add some more!!

Well, I'm not sure if he can keep up with the Warbikes but he reminds me of one of the enemies from Sonic the Hedgehog, which counts for a lot! You're really packing all the clan feel into these guys.

The brown is looking really nice.

Finished painting the Snakebite Nob

bw5LmkE.jpg

I like how colourful he ended up being. I think he is VERY OBVIOUSLY a Snakebite which is good!

I now have a full unit :) will hopefully be playing my first game with these guys this week!

Now to start painting my first warbuggie... 'Da Rumbla' :)

Love the brushwork on the tusks :love Looking forwards to seeing him finished.

Thanks, the tusks were actually pretty basic

Thanks, I don't know though, I reckon he could keep up. I like to think he feeds his boar on a diet of the Ork equivalent of steroids and amphetamines!! :D

I'm glad the clan feels are coming across!!

Oh, VERY obviously a snakebite!  That's really cool.  I also like the bright vibrant colours on this model.  Your wrappings/bandages look great too - a perfect tone I think.

Well, I finished the body and chassis of 'Da Rumbla'

v1BCmhR.jpg

Pretty happy with it, its got that Ed Roth via Mad Max look that I was going for :) and I think it looks suitably mean

I've made a start on the driver and gunner, but nothing worth showing yet

Any thoughts??

Thanks heaps for the feedback!! The wrappings are just Ceramite White with a wash of thinned down Seraphim Sepia :)

Love the back end on it - the way that the engine kind of blends into it is perfection :love

I finished painting 'Da Rumbla'

L5Zk47A.jpg

Very happy with how it turned out, plus the bits for my second one arrived today :)

I also made a start on some stormboyz

09eejtV.jpg

It's amazing how a tiny bit of conversion and kitbashing gives far more dynamic and interesting poses than what's on the box!!

Here's the test smoke trail I made for them

wtkf6ZT.jpg

wasn't sure how they'd turn out, but I think I should use them

Also, the start of my Nob

SANSTPu.jpg

Points for anyone who can figure out where I'm going with this guy ;)

Well posed mini... Even without the red and yellow...

Or i watch too many movies ;)

Are the arm rockets from the storm boy kit? I still use the old metal ones...

I love the glyph/patch on the gunner's back. Is that painted or trimmed down and stuck on? Either way it's a fair effort!

I finished another stormboy

gJIZ7Hx.jpg

I'm thinking of calling them Git and Gob

I've also finished the Stormboy Nob 'Tony Stork: Iron Nob'

V3g5zLs.jpg

I also got one painted

sRx7a8z.jpg

really happy with it. doing this one has helped figure out how to paint the rest of them smile.png

I've also done some work on a second buggy 'Skull Squisha'

and the gunner

C&C Welcome

Thanks. Pretty much everything but the head is from the stormboy kit.

I'd love to take credit but it's literally just a torso from the biker kit.

I do love your conversions, especially your buggy! :D
I am guessing that the steering wheel is a Lego one? If so, I shall be buying a few of them! They are the smallest ones yeah?

Got another buggy done: 'Skull Squisha'

DMAh4mB.jpg

These orks seem a bit crazier than the ones in 'Da Rumbla'

Thanks, Indeed it is a lego steering wheel. It's just a standard one that I had laying around :)
