As I posted a while back in the rules section; overcoming the lack of Kustom Battlefortress rules in the FW Index looks easy enough:

Move, Strength, Toughness, Wounds and Save all as Banebleade Index Imperium 2 p30.

WS, BS, Ld as Kill Tanks from Forgeworld Index Xenos.

Points would be 300 + weapons and wargear based on IA 8 pts for Skullhamma and Custom Battlefortress less their standard weapons.

The simple way to add other weapons and wargear is to use IA8 points.

For weapons and wargear not in FW Index Xenos:  Skulhamme Kannon in IA8 = Supa Kannon in 8th.

There's also no Grot Bombs but these have basically the same profile as a Leman Russ Battle Cannon in 7th so range 24-72" type heavy D6, S8, AP-2, D D3, BS 4+ twin linked and 20pts.

Of course FW may produce profiles before the weekend but if not here's a fix that seems fair.

Hope this helps.

Stuff

Unless FW releases a Skullhamma datasheet, I'd say the SH kannon should be closer to the BB cannon.

Edit:

5 weeks away we have 10 people.

I'll talk to Dim and Skarnir, but a rough estimate of 3K per person seems like a good idea.

Skarnir's writing a rules pack, I'd imagine this will be complete around 2 weeks before(?).

Full load out is

Morks' Mitt - Klaw (not far off the size of an entire GorMonaut)

Deff Kannon - same barrel as the GW one (shells are a bit bigger though)

SupaGattla - bit bigger than the GW one but close enuff

5 x Big Shootaz - all forward firing with 90arc

Da Glare ov Gork - about the size of a stock stompaz' head

WurrGul - teleport blasta?

UlkDakka - about the size of a defence laser

ZagDakka - Twin mounted bolt kannon (shoots the shells GW supplied for their DeffKannon)

SupaGrot launcha - rokkit powered kamikazi stormgrots wiv tankbusta bomz strapped to their heads

The last four could be combined under the original DeffArsenal rules - hope you're not expecting points costs :lol

Clearly the 2 most effective weapons on smoggy then, as they both work best at point blank range  :biggrin

standard deffwing tactic: rush fast and hit like a runaway freight train with a rocket booster on the last carriage...

The original suparokkit rules gave them a single strength 8 hit causing one wound (but hitting on 2+, more like this please), the stormgrotz/tankbusta bomz seemed more in keeping with this than the zoggin great rokkits GW supplied with their stompa. Their range in Apoc games was limited to 120" but in normal games was considered infinite - not exactly point-blank   ;)

A bit of a debate has come up regarding Command Points.

We've got a few suggestions for people to think and discuss over:

1) 2CPs per player per player per turn. This potentially gives each player 12 CPs, but we don't have to worry as much about running totals of who has spent what.

2) CPs per player are determined by the detachments they bring (rules as written). Harder to keep track of with 10 players.

3) Each player gets a set number of points regardless of their army composition that can only be spent by them over the course of the whole game.

4) CPs are team based (total for the game or per turn), with each team having a 'Kaptain' that can veto/force the use of a CP.

5) Other suggestions?

Yeah probably 4. Although #1 does sound like it'd cause absolute chaos, quite fitting for the megabattle.

In other news, I've just know discovered I won't have access to 90% of my infantry this time around (long story), so I hope it isn't considered too cheesy when I turn up with a almost exclusively vehicle army :blush

I don't know if I'll even be able to scrabble together 50! Probably need us on opposing teams again ;)

Quick question, what are we doing about the superheavy rules we lost.

*glances at desk* Looted wagon rules d' be good if we can slap em together in time, I've got a bunch of stuff based on Rhino chassis that are a bit big for trukks and bit small for BWs.

I've been told it's official GW policy to use looted wagons as either leman russes with the imperial keyword removed or supakannon big trakks... does anyone have a preference? Lol
