Hi all,

I thought it would be good to have a thread with a summary all the various manufacturer's who make bits that us Mek's use to do conversions. I figure this would be considered a good 'Know-Wots' for us on this forum. Reason for this thread is I had a problem with my dakkasub conversion and had i not stumbled on Foxbox's recommendation of a website, i would have still not found the bit i need. So this is for all those 'damn i need this bit' moments.
Other members have done good reviews of some of the products in the links below, so look for those if you wanted detailed reviews of specific bits, this here is just a summary page of links. Perhaps as a structure, if you want to contribute where you get your good bits from, please feel free to add a linky plus a description of what you would generally find at the website. so here goes:

http://www.spellcrow.com/ - Ork bits for conversions (heads ++)
http://kromlech.eu/ - Mushrooms, Ork bits for conversions, mushrooms, vehicles, did i mention mushrooms?
http://www.maxmini.eu/store/ - Ork bits for conversions
http://zinge.co.uk/ - mechanical bits (cogs, fans, flexible rivets etc)
http://puppetswar.co...?id_category=51 - alternate ork vehicles

Nice idea. I have a bunch of favourites I should share.

Ramshackle Games - Resin miniatures for a post apocalyptic skirmish game. All parts are available to buy separately. Lots of stuff; motors, wheels, tracks, exhausts, vehicle components and some nice ramshackle buildings. The owner is a nice guy, semi regular poster here. Store was closed for September and is still closed as of November 4th, 2012.
Anarchy Models - New company sells some airbrush and casting supplies. Very small range of resin components but they are excellent quality. Hope to see them expand. Likewise the owner posts here.
Tichy Train Group - Big range of rivets. Never used them but I have seen multiple recommendations.
Secret Weapon Miniatures - Mostly Imperial but they have a few things Meks might like. Spent shell casings, weathering pigments, generators and a small range of stuff called 'scrap yard' which is a euphemism for Orks.
Ainsty Casting - A range of scenery/terrain and props. Mostly sci-fi and modern.

Finally, there is a big list of third party supplies on the Ordo Fantaticus forums. Basically everything I have listed is from there. here.

Can't help thinking that Spellcrow are going into dodgy ground by calling their range "orks" rather than "orcs" as most others have been doing.

My contribution:
http://www.bitzbox.co.uk < If you want just a few certain GW bits, this is the place to go for people in the UK

EDIT: GAH!! Have you guys been buying all the magnets off miniwargaming? They are out of stock on everything.
If it ain't bolted down itz ours...and if it is, I gotz a wrench!
