Places are limited, so it is strictly a first come first served endeavor, unless you contacted the tournament organizer personally. All rules will be used for this tournament, as will the latest FAQ’s from Forge World When you arrive, Gamers will be asked for a copy of your Squadron Lists for your three Missions. You should prepare at least 4 copies of each, copies for the tournament organizer and copies for your opponents. Your Squadron Lists must adhere to the following: Be word-processed and clearly legible. Include your name. Adhere to the criteria listed in Squadron Selection section. Clearly stated the total value for each aircraft and/or ground defence unit entry in your list and must specify any additional equipment or weapons loads. Army Builder Squadron Lists are acceptable. All Gamers should bring One deck of 10 Aeronautica Imperialis Maneuvers Cards, sufficient number of D6 dice, pen/pencil, tape of other measuring device, super glue for those emergency repairs and as previously mentioned at least 4 copies of each Squadron List for the Three Missions. Advanced Rules All advanced rules are to be used, including ace pilots and extreme maneuvers. Kills are recorded, and pilots may become aces and use ace skills and bonuses. Surviving pilots with recorded kills may transfer kills and ace status to the next missions roster sheet into an aircraft of exactly the same type. Pilots who have been shot down and made a successful ejection test may also transfer kills and ace status to a new aircraft of the same class (fighter or bomber) at the beginning of the next mission. Aircraft that are destroyed lose any kills and ace status, and may not transfer them to the next mission. Chaos Ground Defences. Chaos players may use Imperial Navy ground defences as Chaos Renegade Militia support when choosing their squadron lists. The models must be painted and/or modeled to suit your chaos army. Proxy Models. Players may use reasonable proxy models and conversions to represent models, which are not currently in production by Forgeworld or Specialist Games. Players may not use proxy models from other factions with the exception of Chaos, who may use imperial ground defenses with the above stipulations. If you are unsure, please contact a tournament organizer. Battle Points Points will be awarded according to the following table, after each Mission is finished in order to determine the over all Winner. Massacre 20 Battle points Margin of victory double opponents score or more Superior Victory 16 battle Points Margin of victory greater than 50% of opponents score Victory 12 Battle points Greater victory points than opponents score Draw 10 Battle points Victory points are equal Defeat 8 Battle points Less victory points than opponent Solid Defeat 4 Battle points Margin of defeat more than 50% of opponents score Slaughtered 0 Battle points Margin of defeat double opponents score or more Mission One- Combat Air Patrol A routine patrol receives instructions that enemy aircraft are approaching. You are vectored to intercept and destroy them. Forces - 90 points There is no attacker or defender in this mission. Both players may choose Fighters or Bombers. Neither player may use ground defences. Set-up Both players roll an initiative dice, players deploy on opposite short table edges, the initiative winner getting the pick. Starting with the initiative winner, players alternate, placing models in contact with their table edge at any permissible speed and altitude. Victory Conditions Add up victory points for destroyed and damaged aircraft and ground targets to determine the winner of the mission. Mission Two - Ground Attack Both sides are fighting in major Battle for control. Forces - 180 points There is no attacker or defender in this mission. Both players may choose Fighters or Bombers and may also use ground defences. Set-up Both players roll an initiative dice, players deploy on opposite short table edges, the initiative winner getting the pick. Starting with the initiative winner, players alternate placing models in contact with their table edge at any permissible speed and altitude and in addition both player will place 5 ground targets, such as armoured vehicles, bunkers and such. These ground targets, all have a hit value of 2, regardless of type and will have scoring value of 14 each. Victory Conditions Add up victory points for destroyed and damaged aircraft and ground targets to determine the winner of the mission. Mission Three – Aces High It is time to determine who are the better fliers. Forces – 120 points There is no attacker or defender in this mission. Both players may choose Fighters or Bombers and may not use ground defenses. Set-up Each player will select one of their Fighters and upgrade it free of cost to that of an Ace, this should be identifiable to yourself and your opponent. You may upgrade your Ace, to a double Ace at your own expense. Both players roll an initiative dice, players deploy on opposite short table edges, the initiative winner getting the pick. Starting with the initiative winner, players alternate, placing models in contact with their table edge at any permissible speed and altitude. Special Rules Night Fighting and Bad Weather Rules are in play for the whole of Mission Three. Victory Conditions Add up victory points for destroyed and damaged aircraft to determine the winner of the mission. In addition if the player who manages to shoot down their opponents Ace, they gains a 100 additional victory points.

The Tournament went well. The only Aircraft not used were panzee. 1st place went to the 'umies and there was a tie for seconds. Imperial and fish'ead.
