The only issue I ever had with craft paints was that the pigment tends to break down easier when you really thin it down

Try thinning them with Future instead of water. It helps the durability too.

Great work. The only suggestion I was gonna throw out was to leave the sand off the rocky side areas when you are gluing sand on. Later on you can mix a little sand in with your black paint to get some texture on it. That way it differentiates the top areas of the rock and the side areas. Not the greatest explanation, but.. If you ever come out to the Chicago Battle Bunker, bring it along and show the staff! I hobby there regularly and I for one for love to see it in person. Blackbone

Theres more to come, i have some stuff done but have yet to take pictures. More of Ork town to come.

Are you building an Ork town or planet? ;)

This is a great build. :thumbs There's not much I can add that hasn't already been said, but, wow!

I'm anxiously awaiting more Ork town. :biggrin

Your scenery is just unblievibly orky! Its awesome. On the phunk shak maybe do some DoW style builds and add some big shootas on there. maybe just 2 on oposite corners. Also nice attention to detail. (yay :D 100th postand yay im group boyz now)
Im back... after a long break. Glad to be back here ^^

This stuff is absolutely fantastic. So far my scenery work has been confined to hills, crags, and basic ruined buildings. You sir, have inspired me, this weekend I begin!
Why play Orks you ask?....
Well my friend, its quite simple, I rather enjoy the word 'killy' and decided I wanted to use it more in coversation...

Wow, this is some dead 'ard Orky terrain, very reminiscent of the characterful stuff from Dawn of War. Please keep it up!

The symbol is lovely, I dunno about that white background for it, though. While it does make the symbol stand out, it sure seems too clean for the rest of the piece. *edit* Oh, and the "Gatorade" text on the bottle needs to be covered or removed. Unless that was intentional.
