The only issue I ever had with craft paints was that the pigment tends to break down easier when you really thin it down
Try thinning them with Future instead of water. It helps the durability too.

Are you building an Ork town or planet?
This is a great build. There's not much I can add that hasn't already been said, but, wow!

This stuff is absolutely fantastic. So far my scenery work has been confined to hills, crags, and basic ruined buildings. You sir, have inspired me, this weekend I begin!
