Ghaleon's (Finished) Goff Killa Kan

It's kind of a "proof of concept" for the rest of my kanz mob.

very nice. Was this done using the kan 101 templates?
Not really, but I was inspired to build it after reading the kan 101 tutorial. I based it more off the unassembled GW model that I have.
Sweet. That baby looks awesome. Great attention to detail. I especially like the triple rokkits. I am definitely going to loot that design. Nice work on the engine bitz. Very nice. I can't wait to see it finished.
Of all people, I was hoping most for your feedback. Thanks . After all, you're the resident kanz expert!

I like it, although I find it strange that you decided to copy the exact design instead of improving upon it or making your own. But still a good job.
As I said, it's a proof-of-concept. I've made some 'modifications' such as the flat visor, the triple rokkit, and the klaw will be different (maybe triple klaw, to go with the rokkit?). But mostly, it's just to prove to myself that I can make a solid regular kan before I go off making different ones. My next might be more of a mechwarrior style kan (or dread?), with shoulder mounted rokkits. This one, I hope, might make people give it a second glance to figure out whether or not it's GW-made. Also, it's a heck of a lot lighter and more durable than the metal kans!

An chance you could explain how you have made those rockets and what they are made from (i am already guessing plastic)
Please keep the pics coming when you have done more.
I made them the same way I did for my tankbustas. I start out with some plastic rod (or in the case of the tankbustas, with 5 squares of 1mm thick plasticard glued together and hacked and whittled until it resembled a rod). Then I cut the end off into a blunt spear shape with my knife. And then I cut further down into a sharper spear shape so it has a nice parabolic look. Then I whittle it until it becomes a bit round, and then I sand it, cut a groove, and add fins.
As for more pics, I dunno... I'm a bit lazy. I was hoping to have more stages shown but I didn't bother to take pics until just today. Too bad - you would have seen how easy it is to build your own kan!
Wow! Impressive plasticard work here
I'm sure some peoples will think it's a (slightly) converted GW Kan
Until they pick it up.
