Looked at the legs, looked at the gunner - mek-squig-hopper
Really like that orange shading on the yellow and the bangs and dings really take me back to council trucks and JCBs
Puffball fungus, The gunner is just a regular deff-kopta without the engine.
I cut the arms and fork, and replace them to match better with a gunner stance.
I'm inspiring myself with construction trucks, for the "battledamage". Nice that it's reminding you something like that too
The gunner is done!
Hadn't noticed the reverse grip bike handlebars before - expect it to be looted lots
"Hadn't noticed the reverse grip bike handlebars before - expect it to be looted lots " Ditto!! I am loving the paint kreell.
The pegleg painted
My son says that I messed up with the white strip...
Well, it's not exactly what I have in mind, but well they do the job
With a messed up OSL attempt...
What do you think about the lightnings? I though I should add some white tip here and there, perhaps. Don't really know...
Nice work on the metal and hydrolix, hoses are a nice touch too (especially the hose clips - though I suspect on anything orky at least one or two would have been smeared off before too long). Looking at Google Images of lightning your strikes might look better by fading the blue into the black and fine lining the centre of the strike in white, it can look really good like that if you've got the talent and patience for it - personally I'd say yours look good enough
Thanks Badfang Brassaxe, for now ill keep the lightnings as they are... not sure of my skill to try your idea
yeah the hoses are a bit too clean for orks, I'll try to fix this
all the limbs are done, I'll go for the big part now!
they seems to fit together event if I paint them one at a time
I don't have to adjust them, appart the socle, the contrast are not good enought I thought
here come the back (or rear, I don't really know the good word), well... the WIP^^
the yellow is done!
here come the back (or rear, I don't really know the good word)
Looking good, don't know how far down the WIP you are but the exhausts could do with a bit of soot round them and heavily thinned black oil paint works well for seeping hydrolix
for the WIP, I've just put the base color and the first shade on the metal.
the yellow is the first color to be lightened and shaded, then the rest
