I just went looking for the .pdf of the BFG living rulebook and after an exhaustive and tedious :sowhat search of the Specialist Games website and a google search of various websites I got nuffin' >:

I was able to find out the link is supposed to be:
http://www.specialis...tgothic/tlr.asp

But there is no longer any mention of the LRB on Specialist's website and any link found on any other site leads to a dead page.

Does anybody have any info on what's going on with the LRB? :?

Have you tried the official BFG site on specialist-games? You'd think that'd be the first place to look. :P

Thanks Krooza but I have all of the pdf's and hardcopy rulebooks also. I was trying to find the link to help out Waaaghdakka and maybe save him some cash on the rulebook.

Guru - I tried the official BFG site. :yes And I couldn't find it there anywhere, including in the Downloadable Resources section.

Did you check out your link? Because when I used it, it was broken. :P

:cheers

http://www.specialis...ic/rulebook.asp works for me. TLR is there as are many (if not all) lists from Armada.

Maybe it's my machine then. :? When I clicked on your link DFens I got this error:

Home - Games -

ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'

Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.

/battlefleetgothic/rulebook.asp, line 29

If anybody has any insight into this, :search I'd love to find out if there's a setting or something out of place preventing me from accessing the site.

:cheers

Perhaps it's your browser? I'm using Mozilla 1.7.7 on Win2k. If you're using IE, you might want Mozilla as a backup browser for pages that display improperly or not at all.

I finally smartened up and used the Search function on the GW site, cuz I gotz da kauntin' know-wotz. :biggrin :lol

If you type in "living rulebook" this is what you get for results.

And if you read the specs for the search and narrow it down to "living AND rulebook" this is what you get.

None of the results lead anywhere near to a LRB for BFG. Do you suppose it has been taken down?

Ha-ha!! I finally found it!!
http://www.specialis...ic/rulebook.asp
And if this is the same link as one of you boyz posted earlier. Well then, I can't explain the wierdness of why I couldn't make your link work and then I was able to get to this page without any problems. :/

DFens - this is the link you posted earlier and now all of a sudden it's working. I'm so confused! :/ Too much proximity to too much panzee tech, I'm going to bed!!
