Hello out there... I originally started as a fish'ead player but caught a green fever and it has kept me busy for some time now.

Greenskins are amazing 'cause you can basically REALLY personalize them without taking away their flavor... on the contrary! they get even more orkish.

So, the first time I read the codex I was amazed by the tons of characters in it, but mainly my eye caught the awesome image of the old Zogworth... so I decided to made me one... this took me some time (almost a year) but because I wasn't that constant with it; but I finished it by the end of last year. It is a full scratch build of which I'm very proud biggrin2.gif

For Zogworth's vipers nest I decided that a Mork's wooden mask was the way to go

WiP picture

Next I have this Dok which is almost ready... it just need some details on the leg and the tools.

To follow, the nob with the Waagh banner... these two characters are part of "da broderhud of da Waaagh!" loyal retinue of "Da Boss" (I'm still looking for his name)

They band called themselves "Da Famili"... the first time I played orks, with a lended army, I started to sing "we are family!" as I was moving my boyz across the board... so the idea of vehicles with speakers while they all try to do a battle cry in karaoke stile is just amazing to me!

At the moment I have a "lotz o' projectz on da table" scratch builds:

A mega Dread, already under construction...

A Dakkajet, inspired on a Spitfire, and today I just found the plastic bottle to make the main body...

and a truck concept that is still waiting for some wheels (the image was out of the limit, so I'll leave it for the next time)

I hope you enjoy the pictures, and of curse tell me what you think... modz, painting and stuff. Iz nize to be 'ere! thumbs.gif

I do Like your sculpt for the weird boy, And I do like the doc and mega dread, I'll look forward to seeing them progress. I take it the usual plethora of rivets are still to be added?

thanks for the good comments guys! looting is "da way", so go on and look for bottles CoolOrkDark.gif ... the only problem I have found is that usually cleaning products bottles are made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) which is really difficult to glue to other plastic materials... but with patience and "kunning" (meaning cursing and beating too), it all can be made.

Now, back to the Dakkajet, it's coming sweet! CoolOrkDark.gif

Stabilizer and Elevator are not yet glued

also I'm looking for some material to do the canopy

The side panels towards the nose are to put the exhausts tubes

and I decided to go more orkish on the nose, so I'm leaving that air intake grid bellow the nose

Still work to do, but I'm really happy with it... I'm starting to work on the suppa shootas. I'll let you know how it goes CoolOrkDark.gif

Hey guys! well... I just made the first suppa shoota! it took me some time to convince me how to and where to, but in the end I'll go classic with it. Exhausts are coming nice too... C&C welcome!

The red painting was to enhance a detail I was trying to achieve with PVA glue: Making generic rivets/soldering dots with little droplets... in the end I like the result. Bigger rivets are to be made with plasticard.

I decided to let the rear wings to look as they came from another source. I'm very happy with the progress.

After finishing the shootas I'll start with detailing the wings with some plating. Thanks for the comments!

Well, hello there! I've been struggling with the heat (I live in Milan, Italy, and is really hot these days)... anyways, the Dakkajet is comming really nice, although I have been suffering 'cause of the Polyethylene from the bottles I've been using... gluing this material is like betting and hoping for the best... so far I'm winning pphhtork.gif. I've been trying to keep up the work on the Mega Dread too... so this updated comes with bonus. Let me know what you guys think of my progress, thanks!

Progress on the plating and rivets...

... and there is the canopy and the fuel tank (one on each side)...

... the belly of the beast... rivets to be done and clamps to hold (hoping for the best CoolOrkDark.gif) pphhtork.gif

it needs some gap filling with green stuff I guess... although I'm thinking about other options, like PVA plaster or something similar... we'll see.

My desk is a mess!!! sorry about that...

BONUS: Mega Dread!

With the second klaw I'm really loving it loveemoticon.gif

putting rivets on this thing it's going to be.. let's say "fun".

Cheers!!
