With only 1 super heavy per git it looks like I will be loaning out my 2 Stompaz and my KillBrusta. First come first serve. I'll take one! Seriously, I don't' think I'll make it - I'm stateside (now, and will be on that date) but need to head to CA unexpectedly for family reasons. I'm not sure on our travel dates, so maybe things will work out. -------------------- meh.

I hope you can make it Scarp!!!
45 minute turns, eh? Well, that Scraps my plan to bring 2 Green Tides, one of boyz & one of 'ard boyz. I'll have to think up a more mobile, mechanized list. Hak, call me, would you? I'd like to make a weekend of this, weedle couch-crashing rights out of you, etc. Maybe spend some time hammering out 6th ed rules? Looking forward to seeing you & the rest of the gang! -------------------- So - whenever dem doks finish staplin' yer arms back on Haky, why don't you an yer boyz come down fer a visit. We'll 'av a few squigaritas, throw a few grots around an' discuss who dis 'ere choppa really belongs to...

I'm one of the guys running Orkfest this year. My apologies, I thought that the rule set we submitted stated we were going to use 5th edition rules for this years Orkfest. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Some questions I have been asked...
Can I use the model I have converted to count as X? Yes, though it should be built to a similar scale, and have similar weapons as the original model. Can I use the datasheet that I have created? Please submit it before hand, or before the event begins so it can be reviewed. |

Orks vs. everyone yes that is the plan usually, but we never have enough Ork players. So if you have Orks come on out.

I'll be there with my Chaos, and I'm bringing some reinforcements so that's 2 CSM players to support the waagh as needed. Do we need to pre-register or anything?

This year's Orkfest was AWESOME! I'm already looking forward to next year...I'll proobably switch back to Orks to make sure there are actually more Ork players then Chaos...unless the new codex is too awesome to resist. Thanks to some great opponents and a few helpful Orky neighbors, today's fight was just a blast.

Well - we survived Orkfest 8.
Years ago I'd learned the lesson that 3-4k was the right balance for a megabash. Sadly, I forgot that lesson, and brought nearly 7k to today's game. Coupled with 45 minute turns & it was stressful, long 7 hour slog. I brought 8 battlewagons, 8 big trakks, a gunwagon, 6 trukks & my kill blasta with mobs riding in each - way too much to handle once mobs started disembarking. I'd like to stongly suggest that for future megabashs we limit armies to 2-3k & require them to follow force org charts. Keep things managable & cut down on the cheese (always a big issue in an Apoc game). -------------------- So - whenever dem doks finish staplin' yer arms back on Haky, why don't you an yer boyz come down fer a visit. We'll 'av a few squigaritas, throw a few grots around an' discuss who dis 'ere choppa really belongs to...

Had a Great time at OrkFest-8. Brought 2700pts of Da Boyz, mostly Footsloggers and didn't need the whole 45min. Yes, the CHEESE was a little of an issue, to many Independent Characters! I will have to get a Super Heavy for next year!!

I was wondering guys, do you think there would be any interest in the Waaagh contributing a themed board or terrain for next year? Would you be amenable to it?

As a guest to Orkfest, we didn't play on separate tables! All the tables where put together in the middle of the room as one big battle field!
