I was on 4Chan's TG board the other day and someone was suggesting a mob using virtually only vehicles. Several trukks/buggies, each with a driver and gunner, little to nothing else. With yoofs to pick up scrap it might work, but it got me thinking about other mob structures that seem a tad esoteric.
Any of you got any good ideas for unusual mob structures? -------------------- |

I love unusual mobs, So without further ado here is three of them.
First up a mob that initially might seem normal its a trukk and some boys... Trukk Spanner Yoof 2x Choppa Scorcha Nob 2x Choppa Six shoota Boy Shoota Choppa Boy Shoota Choppa If you add up the teef you will notice that its quite a bit short. Thats because you right off the bat can afford to make the trukk flashier with Scrap grabber, wrecker ball, reinforced ram, big grabber and extra ammo for the scorcha! So there you have the first mob, never leave the trukk and ram your way to riches! Priority once you get more teef should of course be to make the trukk even more flashy by making it extra spiky, or why not make the wheels spikey so that there is no place to hide and finally adding some wheel slashas for extra side swiping fun. Another unusual mob is the dead cool bike mob concept, and here is my take on it. Nob Krak stickbomb Bike Twin kannon Spanner Shoota Frag stickbomb Choppa Boy Bike Twin shootas Boy Slugga Choppa Boy Bike Twin shootas Boy Slugga Choppa I feel it might be lacking in variety between the different bikes, it might need an extra spanner and some yoofs. But i was concerned about income (the mob already has 9 models but only 4 earning income) The last mob is nothing less the a dust rats mob I am hoping to build this summer and it is also somewhat along the lines suggested in the introduction post. Commanding officer Long rifle Plank LRV Grunt HMG Grunt Carbine Plank LRV Grunt Recoilless Rifle The mob consist of two LRV three man buggies with heavy weapons. The mob should have an interesting "kiting" play style (Low survivability but long range makes it the obvious choice) And when the scrap starts rolling in, I'm hoping to ad a third buggie. |

Interesting ideas!
We're toying with the idea of including a page or two on alternative structures for mobs in Ere Be Stuff as it seems so many people start out with nearly identical mobs. Where's the fun in that? I like the structure of your Dust Rat mob. I'm considering adding some heavy weapons to mine to give the fragile LRVs some teeth, at the expense of some teef. Ahem. -------------------- |

I have actually decided to change the dust rat mob a bit due to modeling preferences (and less dependency on the big gun ammo rolls)
So here is the slightly less single minded version, that also can survive a single ork climbing aboard without running into big trouble. Commanding officer Machine Pistol Sword Grunt Carbine HMG Plank Revolver LRV Veteran Machine pistol Sword Grunt Carbine Plank Revolver LRV I will still ad a second heavy weapon (and extra ammo) as i get the "teef" armor for the squishy LRV's would also be a good thing to have (I plan on making the big guns and extra armor detachable on the models) |

I'm considering making my next mob Freeboota bikers, modelled after an outlaw motorcycle club. I'm not sure if the structure will work, but it should be quite interesting.
