I know that there is a thread for posting the Nobs of GorkaMorka so I thought I would make a thread for everyone to post their best work so it’s not restricted to the nobs alone. I might post some of my current stuff on here if I find the camera (although much of it is unpainted - I'm never any good at that bit but I know someone who is...)

My best work for GM is still unfinished (need some textured plasticard) but here's some WIP shots of my Plasticutta (you can also see one of my metal Cuttas for scale):
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And I suppose I am proud of my cutta, although the one converted aspect was not my idea. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This Cutta is older than some of our Waaagh members. Last time I put paint on it was in the late 90s. There's more Gorka Goodness in my Gorka Blog. It's an old thread mind you, but the main reason threads like this are tough for me is I've been planning to modernise and improve my RGs for ages, but its low down the priority list. I suppose if you planned to copy your Cuttas once with plasticard and your Big Lugga twice, you'd put it off a wee bit. Plus I really need that metal look p-card. P.S. Sorry for the unfinished state, but this is to get the ball rolling. -------------------- |

Here's a bike from Nazgrab's Yella Deff, my Morker mob.
![]() ![]() ![]() It's made from the front half of a Gorkamorka trak, with scratchbuilt ammo belts for its twin-linked kannons. ![]() ![]() I really like how this model turned out. Every time I take it off its shelf I end up looking at it smugly, even if it isn't that great. -------------------- |

If you don't mind me saying, you do still need to work on your vehicle paint coverage (especially the yellow, but I avoid yellow for this reason -------------------- |

I don't know if my painting will ever get much better than this. I'm relatively satisfied, so it'll have to do.

Wow, these models are amazing, I especially like the bike for the way it looks like it was built from a standard bike (or at least parts from one) and then modified to become truly awesome.

'Ere are my boyz, Grubwazza's Findaz. They're a dead 'ard band of Morkaz with a knack for lootin' anything they can get their hands on.
You've already met my nob, Grubwazza, and his bike, Greezy Rida. ![]() ![]() Let me introduce you to his favorite Spanna Boy, Snagrekka. It was Snagz that came up with the idea to attach transport platforms to the back of a bike. He tends to ride into the scrap with Grubwazza, armed with a Shoota. ![]() Next, we have Naffgit. His moniker was originally a nickname given to him as the result of his penchant for beating people with krak stikkbombz and blasting away with this slugga. He blazes into battle on Da Krotch Rokkit. ![]() ![]() Riding alongside Naffgit is Gutbugga. Gutbugga actually stole his bike from some Gorka wearing black and white while he was a yoof. When he got back to his fort, his nob looked at the bike and said, "Wot'z dis?" Gutbugga looked him dead in the eyes and said, "It's mine now." The name stuck, and ever since, this bike has been known as "Mine Now". Gutbugga fights with slugga and frag stikkbombz. ![]() ![]() A lover of big guns and bigger booms, Gulduff is never one to shy away from a good scrap. He'll streak into battle on the back of anything fast, and prefers to fight up-close, even when shooting. This is why the blunderbuss was the perfect gun for him. ![]() The maniac of the gang (every gang has one) goes by the name Gorgrim. His favorite past time is leaping off of a speeding vehicle, slugga blasting and choppa whirring, flying head-first like a green missile into an unsuspecting target. ![]() These are Grubwazza's Findaz. ![]() -------------------- Nkelsch on the differences between disembarking from open-topped vehicles and closed vehicles.

Nice biker mob, I was going to say what I especially liked about them but the whole thing is brilliant. I'd thought I had made some good models but looking at some of the pics here I'm going to have to do a lot more work on my modelling if I want to model anything half-decently.

Nice biker mob, I was going to say what I especially liked about them but the whole thing is brilliant. I'd thought I had made some good models but looking at some of the pics here I'm going to have to do a lot more work on my modelling if I want to model anything half-decently. Thanks. In truth, there was very little modification done in the modeling aspect. Most of it dealt with adding the Rhino doors to the bikes. I had to file down the ammo feeds until they were smooth and either had to carve out a spot for the exhaust pipe or turn it to the side. Everything else is regular old magnetized bitz. I found one of the simplest ways to do the bikes is to spray them black and just do a drybrush of chainmail over the whole thing. Then drybrush some color onto it and voila!, it's done. I think what tends to make my models look a bit more unique is that the skin and leather is all inked. The skin is bone colored with a layer of Devlan Mud (two layers for the nob) and two layers of green ink. The red is blood red with devlan mud (Except for Gorgrim's pants, which are red gore with blood red drybrushed), and the blue is ice blue with blue ink. The models didn't take that long to do and I painted Gorgrim, Gulduff and Snagrekka together in about 3.5 hours. The only two techniques I really used were drybrushing and inking. I do look forward to seeing your models though. -------------------- Nkelsch on the differences between disembarking from open-topped vehicles and closed vehicles.

I finally got round to tacking pictures of some of my 'presentable' models, I lean towards the playing side more than modelling so many of my models are not up to much but they all still follow WYSIWYG.
Here are some of the models from my current mob, I won't always make models for the mob if I find others that will work and I don't tend to get round to painting much.
