I also want to post this reminder about the production time, just in case anybody didn't catch it earlier:

An important question was asked on another forum, so I am posting it at all sites where this project thread is being hosted. Here it is:

Q: I'm really interested in this, but there is no mention of a time frame of when we will receive our dice. Can you estimate a time frame?

A: It all depends on how quickly people order, such that we reach 1,000+ or 2,000+ dice. 1,000+ dice is the minimum order amount for this sort of bulk group order(at least to get our quoted price), and at this point it looks that that will not be a problem to hit at all. Once the order is complete(i.e. I have closed the ordering), I will tally all of the color option amounts and place the production order with the manufacturer. If I recall correctly, the manufacturing process takes about two weeks per 1,000 dice to complete for a kustom order like this(it took about 5 weeks last time). Then the dice are shipped to me, I confirm the order amounts(yes, I count every single die) and divide them all up by type and amount for each order. Then I ship them out to everyone. If you are among the first to order, you may be waiting 10-14 weeks for your dice to arrive(June/July most likely). If you are not prepared to do that then do not order. Once again, this is an estimate which greatly relies on how quickly the total number of dice ordered builds. The quicker a legitimate order size builds, the more quickly I will announce an ordering deadline.

I haven't yet finished totaling everything just yet, and I go through the numbers twice before handing them off to somebody else for some independent verification. I do the sme thing when I divide up the orders. I don't want to short anybody anything, so bear with me.

Wait until you get to pay full retail and shipping/tax. As of today the retail price for the dice is 1.71 GBP. The price here was .77 GBP. Shipping to the UK is roughly 11.44 GBP. If you ordered 12 dice you would break even in comparing retail(not including tax/VAT) to the price here + shipping. If you would have ordered more than 12 dice; especially if it were much more than 12 dice, well, you basically screwed yourself out of sweet deal, so I am playing the tiniest violin for those who chose not to join in on the order due to shipping(especially those who would have ordered a lot more than 12 dice).

People could be smart and combine orders with a friend(s) and thus split the shipping as I suggested. Or, if you don't have a buddy to split the shipping with, you could have ordered extra dice and then sold them yourself, and, depending on how many dice you could sell this way, your own dice would likely have ended up costing you *NOTHING*!!! I myself did this last time around. Yeah, that's called using your Orky knowitz!

As to the dice totaling, I am almost done. I had 6 orders which had to be combined into previous orders, with other notes in PMs across 3 websites totaling nearly two dozen order alterations. I have finished going through all of that and setting it straight, and am close to having a final total to submit for the order. I'll be very glad when this part is over and done with, as it is just annoyingly tedious.

I have finished the totaling of the dice and dice bags, and have sent off the numbers to Maciej for confirmation. I went over the number totals *comprehensively*, and so am confident that I have everything correct. I'll get hold of Excel and create a totaling sheet if I ever do this again. That's a promise I make to myself!

Anyways, I will likely hear back from Maciej very soon and will post another update on all three forum threads at that time. The most tedious stage of this process for me is now over, so I am rather happy.

I just finished chatting with Maciej via MSN and have placed our order. Payment has been sent and I have received a copy of the Q-Workshop order invoice via e-mail.

Our order is now officially in the pipeline!!!

Production time is expected to be 8-10 weeks from today, with 1 more week of shipping time. So, it looks like I'll be shipping out orders to people in July/August. I'll do my best to post timely updates on the progress of the order. If I haven't posted an update in more than week, by all means bug me about it(in nice way)!

Listen given your attenshun to detail, I'm sure you've the right number of dice - but - if you've any (particularly black/yellow combination) over can you let me know.

I was going to order some but got whisked away by doctors and have been out of commission for last eight weeks, returned to find ordering closed

So should have ordered earlier which teaches me a lesson.

All I can hope is you have 'sum xtras' tucked away
