Hi guys! This is my second post on Da WAAAG! and i need your advice. I have the BfSP set and a few more models, i tried to put them together as following: (C&C always welcome!)
Heroes: Orc Big boss 70pts (Army General) Light Armour 2pts Shield 2pts boar 16pts Marthogs' best basha 15 pts Umm's best boss 'at 30 pts Imbad's iron gnashas 30 pts (With orc boyz) Total 165pts Night Goblin Big boss 30pts Light Armour 2pts Shield 2pts Sneaky skewerer 10pts Amulet of protectyness 25pts (With Night Goblins) Total 69pts Night Goblin Shaman 50pts Level 2 35pts Magic mushrooms x 2 10 each, total 20pts (With Night Goblin Archers) Total 105 pts Heroes total: 309pts Core: 18 Orc boyz 90pts, shields 18pts, FC 30pts. Total 138pts 34 Night goblins 102pts, spears 34pts, musician and Standard bearer. Total 148pts 20 Night goblins 60pts, bows and FC 20pts. Total 80pts 10 Spider riders 130 pts, FC 30pts, bows 10pts. Total 170pts Core total: 775pts Special: 10 Black orcs 130pts, shields 10pts, FC 38pts, Nog's Banner of butchery 25pts. Total 178pts. Spear chukka 35pts Special total: 213pts Rare: Troll 40pts, upgrade to stonetroll/Rivertroll 20pts Army Total: 1248 Points! The tactic is simple enough. The archers will be a supportive unit to shoot some easy target up and hopefully get some wounds in. The boyz will flank anything that the Night gobbos tie up and will (hopefully) win by CR. If needed the black orcs will do the same, as well as going for softened up units. The spider riders are flankers and can get pesky scouts or skirmishers hiding in difficult terrain. They can distract the opponent with som bowshots as well. The Night Goblin spearmen will tie stuff up and set up flank charges for the (relative) hard hitters. The chukka pretty much shoots at light infantry and monsters or tries to get flankshots on some light cav. The troll will act as a support unit and flank stuff, at least if he doesnt get stupid in some crucial moment, which he probably will. That pretty much concludes the entire army. I will be playing mostly dwarfs as me and my brother collects them too. Hopefully though, we will get of to some gaming club or something (No easy feat for somebody living in Sweden) and play some different opponents. So, guys. Any proposal or suggestion of what i should get next? i guess another chukka and more boyz, fanatics and Black orcs. Maybe ill go for the Orc & Goblin Army or brigade sets. And some gobbos? Rock lobber? Chariots? More trolls? Tear my list apart if you feel like it, it's a newbie list for friendly games, not an 'ardboyz winner! With Kind Regards TheNewestLittleCritter Theo |
