You like the clean look, however, if it were up to me I'd give them all a Devlan Mud all-over wash!

So after a loooong hiatus here is some progress: tankbuztaz and an objective!




hopefully next month I'll finish their LW...that would give me 1850 pts list completely done...after dunno how many years...well, oops.

and that was it for my beloved mechanised blood axes list...even brought them to a tournie and got hammered by 'umies shooty list (strange...) but whiped out blood angels and tin'eads... for painted models!

and now...well, my workbench is full of other stuff, some stormtroopers, a skorcha buggy, 5 Beakies, and infinity stuff...slowly everything will get painted!

I like that buggy!

Do you use any finishing washes or other processes on the metals? They look pretty shiny and in some cases they have that "too thin" look that single or even double coats get when painted directly onto primer.

I do metals quick and simple like this:
-tin bitz, boltgun drybrush on all non-weapons
-black, boltgun drybrush and chestnut ink on weapons.

Usually that's two coats of drybrush, and everything has a black primer on it.

haha it looks like one of the new "spyder"trikes I keep seeing on the road.. only .. with some balls behind it. I like it. and it really fits with your over all army look.

Ha! long time no see...but slowly my waaagh! is growing. It's like ages I don't play w40k but I do continue painting my stuff... I will play, I will. I'm even reading the 6ed rulebook and planning some fortifications...uhm...

here are some lootas. Cpnverted with the 3ed lootas in mind, when they had anything and everything from anyother race. So full of gubbinz they are. Damn slow and paingul to paint though...but finally finished!

I think u could spend abit more time on the white backpack (to take out some details more with a different colour or so) and the middle and 2right guns are abit to long for my taste. Rest u did a good job .

thanx! I use always a different pair of colours to identify the various units, orange and blue was for this one, and for the lootas a bit earlier it was blue and orange.

The big apocalypse we'll have at the end of the month really is a good motivation, so I ended up finishing the 'ard shootas ride, a BW. Here it is!
