Dude they look great Thanks but I think it needs a new paint job,Not sure if this is an additional compliment or a critique, as I intended for them to look like they could use a new paint job By ground battle, do you mean a regular game of 40k? If so, then BFG is a completely separate game, but there's lots of opportunity to use the two systems in "linked" games or campaigns. -------------------- |

if you played a game of bfg before or at the same time your going to play your 40k game . you could set it up that when ever one of your ships inthe bfg game enters low orbit it can do a straifing run(apoc template that deviates d6 FEET or d3 if you get a direct hit or something like that).
and maybe even use your transports to do the same thing. have a rule were if one of your ercorts get into low orbiut you get to reroll the scatter on deep strike, you could say it was guided by the ship or something like that. if you play a game of planet strike in conjunction with a bfg game you can pretty much do the space battle followed by the planetary assault makes for epic battles that feel more fleshed out and not single minded. i think bfg is a great tool much in the same way that the planetarty empires tiles are. it just so happens that bfg is a stand alone game as well. -------------------- there is nothing funnyer than watching your prized battlewagon getting blown up by your own bomb squigs.
look on the bright side at least they blew somethihng up. |
