This is a heads up that I will not be able to make it to tonight's standard dungeon run. I am sure that you can find someone to take my spot as DPS is generally not too hard to get.
I have a number of team/partner projects this semester and I have really shitty teams so far. One of my partners is an Electrical Engineering Graduate student - and they don't seem to know dick about circuit design. So me, the computer science undergrad, is having to do all the work on the circuit design, in addition to a crash course in how to use Verilog and all the programming for our design. Hooray me... I seriously don't know how someone can finish an EE degree without knowing that stuff. I spent over 9 hours straight yesterday in a computer lab trying to get our design to work and he essentially did almost nothing (other than mess some stuff up). So I get to do that again tonight. I have a few other projects coming due as well, so even though I have already been scarce lately, I may be even more scarce for a week or so. But I am not gone, I am just buried under a pile of work. I will still be checking forums though, so if something pressing pops up let me know. -------------------- Freebooter Fungus Lager: Only da Finest Fungus!

false alarm.
The whole class received an extension on the project so I don't need to kill myself tonight. And even though I have a lot to do for other classes I could use a night off from schoolwork - so I will be there for the dungeon run. However, I do not want to sit around waiting all night, so I am going to put together a group quickly tonight, and the run is going to be fast as well. Watchmen comes out tonight, and I think I am going to go to a midnight showing - so I am going to stop the run around 10:15 pst no matter where we are. That should give us a little over 3 hours, which considering our last few runs is more than enough time for both instances. -------------------- Freebooter Fungus Lager: Only da Finest Fungus!

Reeeeeally sorry about not being around. Sue's been unable to do anything and recently was back in the hospital because of some post-birth complications. So i've been juggling the responsibilities on my own. I will be back soon, I do apologize for the absenteeism, it's just been very hard and tiring.

As a fairly recent father of two myself, you know I totally understand. Take your time coming back. We'll be sure not to mess with you too much when you return...

I probably won't be around fo Saturday's run. (March 7th) By probably, I mean there is a 75% chance I will NOT be there.

I still have a ton of homework to get done this weekend, and I have to go work out at the national guard as well - so I probably won't make it to the run either. I got a lot of work done in the last 2 days (only 3 hours sleep in 2 days), but I still got a couple projects to complete. Ugh... this week has been shitty, but at least my computer-architecture partner pulled his head out of his ass and figured out some stuff for the project today. -------------------- Freebooter Fungus Lager: Only da Finest Fungus!
