WOW -- Doc this turned out fantastic - once again an awesome build with excellent paint

i had my doubts when i first saw the tracks but it really came together -- i am going to emulate your "platforms" on my next build -- they look super - your pcard work is noteworthy as well. Very nice. thumbs.gif

Looking good so far,

The red really stands out from the metallics.

Any plans for free hand on the banner?

The tracks make it seem bigger than it really is.

Good job

general m.: the paintjob isn't finished by now.
because i'm playing with the reds sukigod explained in his bw thread i do the battlewagon by parts.
i learned, that a base from scab red is better than the fast drying foundation mechrite red if you using a 0/5 brush to spare the corners and rivets.
i tried a sma variation of reds at a few plates.
kaos: no really freehand. simple a yellow radition sign.....

here a few pics from the now mostly finished cabin.

this side isn't darker. it is only different sunshine. so its more the real color.

and without the weapons.

more to follow.

Awesome, awsome, awesome.

Those reds are looking just right (wink) and with the metallics hitting that "just right" note of old an crappy, not rusty, with a layer of grime over it - this would look right at home in my Waaagh! It looks old and impressive, like it's been around for a while and earned its reputation as a Warboss 'Wagon.

Keep it up (so as to keep me honest!)

the reds are really coming to life. - although i suspect you are going to throw more weathering after the colours are done.
Can we get comparison fotos next to your current red vehicles to see how he fits your ongoing "madmax" theme?

lookin forward to seeing this beast ready

can't wait winkingOrk.gif
by the way, your prezzy is in high gear most of the main part is done, now i need to do the extras. about 2 more weeks of sculpting i suspect, it would be faster but the curing time makes the timetable so slow...
yup, plumbing leekages are soooo annoying, my bathroom had a leek last year that took forever to fix. i "fixed" the problem in orky mekboy fashion by temporarily hanging a big wall painting over the smudged area laughingOrk.gif
