I don't really like the turrets stacked on top of each other. I can just imagine it being in the krew kompartment at the front, and the front ramp opens, revealing the kannon!

hi, great build especially the turrets they work really well the ramp looks great too, the views from the front and side show the amount of extreme orkyness and thought that has gone into the design and the level of detail is fantastic , this model is definitely in the aspirational category, i really want to build a skullhammer now after seeing the entries in this contest, thanks, big thumbs up

great work, please paint the head GREEN! ok, il be more realistic, please PAINT IT! oh, and if it isn't already, i think the middle name of your mek should be "darlic" i think the turrets would look better if they had the "tile" effect like those on your other baneblade. good job! -------------------- check out my personal site: GOBLIN3003'S WAAAGH, meet all me boys, wagons, war machines and battle reports!

Thanks for the feedback guys.
4ton - spot on about Mek Wing-Nutz wanting to build a gargant, he keeps pestering me. generalmalaise - the arrows (Waz glyph) are a reminder to the boyz of which direction to charge, as well as to charge fast. Oddballz - I considered visible grot pilots, then glazed cockpits, but I took the easy option and added a rivetted shut entry hatch - to make sure there's no last minute second thoughts. Also Oddballz - I think you should post some WIP shots of your work and get some feedback, support and ideas. I know I'm not alone in drooling over your builds in the past and I now always include some bits of wood and alot of stowage on my vehicles due to looting inspiration from you. I've detailed the supa rokkits. Added access hatches, control gubbinz and plenty of rivets. ![]() Each rokkit has a cable leading to the new "miss-un kontrol" panel. ![]() ![]() I'm going to sit and look at this whilst I build some 'ard boyz over the next few weeks as I keep seeing little bits I can gubbinize/rivet. I may then consider paint. All C&C appreciated. -------------------- Ork Town III - Terrain building competition, sponsored by Ramshackle Games.

I love the fact that you've wired the grot bombz back to the control panel. It's the little things that count.
Allowing a project to sit for a week (or more) before priming is always a good idea. As much as I can't wait to see this painted. I have to agree with you on that. Waaagh on, mate. Job's a gud'n. -------------------- Orks -- comic relief in the grim darkness of the far future.

Mission control did come out pretty sweet. I like the access panel under the console. Even the detail on the grot bombs is amazing.

Build – 63/65
I love this tank, the detail is amazing, especially on the turret, and the front ramp, the weathering and battle damage are really nicely done, everything looks orky without looking rickety. Then there are the details inside the transport part of the tank, which add a lot of character and prevent making it look plain. The pcard work is excelent as usual. In fact, I like everything about this build, apart from one or two minor bits. The rokkits, but you know about that. The deff rolla, I think it looks too weedy Thread - 28 / 30 Lots and lots of explanations which really help. No tutorial pictures, but you explained how you made the cool bits such as the turrets really well, and managed to do so without pictures... so I guess that made up for the lack of them. Bonus Points (e.g. fluff, genius ideas) – 3/5 Altho you didn't do anything really crazy, I liked the use of bits for the turrets, which I'll end up looting someday. Total: 94/100 Thanks for taking part Tepok -------------------- Proppa Unproppa |

The overworked painting grots blow away another layer of dust.....
Got bored painting fiddly bits on my trukks so I primed and started basecoating my Skullhamma: ![]() ![]() Plan is to get this done by the end of the month so I'm ready to start my orky airforce. -------------------- Ork Town III - Terrain building competition, sponsored by Ramshackle Games.

my skullhammer is a lot simpler. it's also been half painted for ages. You need to give your painting grots some encouragement. 2 coats of Iyanden Darksun later: ![]() -------------------- Ork Town III - Terrain building competition, sponsored by Ramshackle Games.

1 coat of Averland Sunset, then decals. Supa-rokkits basecoated:
![]() ![]() Going to add some flames/cheques to the rokkits. Will try to freehand some faces on their nosecones too. Then it's sponge weathering time. -------------------- Ork Town III - Terrain building competition, sponsored by Ramshackle Games.

Yellow all weathered - sponged with Rotting Flesh, Dark Flesh and Boltgun Metal, then washed with Seraphim Sepia.
Started basecoating all the stowage and other fiddly bitz. ![]() ![]() Given up on my attempts at freehanding flames/shark's teeth on the rokkits. Going to look for some decals to use instead. I don't think you should give up on those free hand flames just yet. Personally I find it quite fun to do once you get the hang on it. Simply start where the flames tip is supposed to be. At this point only the tip of the brush should touch the model and then when you progress you push down the brush more to make the flame become wider. To be honest one doesn't even need a steady hand to do this as you are supposed to move the brush a bit to the left and right while you paint to get those nice curvy flames.

nice you did the weathered look well.
free hand flames are pretty easy... just need to be gentle with your brush... and use a newish one preferably. -------------------- May Da WAAAGH! be with you....
