Dreg Gor ug Urty Dakka, CEO of Waagh Dreg, also known as "DA KRUMPANY". As a very rich and very agressive businessork he's always looking for new investment oportunities. Be it rich industrial hiveworls, resource rich asteroid belts or agricultural edens with a rich food production. Anything that's RICH enough will be the next target for the krumpany's business plan.

The pictures are quite bad and the painting is still under progress. No inks or drybrushes yet. Battle damage and dirt hasn't been applied yet. I have transformed him as much as I could but still I'm not completely happy. I need help with the modelling before painting any more. Any ideas?

It looks great, and the golden mask looks cool, but I think it looks too clean for an ork warboss, a veteran with a firggin' cool golden mask. I think you should wash the yellow with an ink to make it look a tad more dirtier and battle worn. Plus the banner lacks detail as does the snot and the head you have on the top of the boss. Also, I can see the skin is just dark angels green, I hope you will change that so it looks more ork-like. But another thing I really love is how you made it look like Mr T with all of it's chains, I think you should add glyphs to the chains and it will make it look mor like Mr T and it would add Bling to it, and maybe a mohawk, lol.

he does look rather clean. but that's personal preference.
in my opinion he looks rather cartoony, which isnt a bad thing. some mud, paint chips, and blood could be put on if you so desire

Nicely built Warboss, but dont see a Snotling as that dark a color. In the Codex ( dunno about the new one), the darker the skin=the tougher da boy, and Snotlings are as wimpy as u get ("Less uz shoot 'em out of dat 'der Shokk Gun, hur hur" laughingOrk.gif) simply paint it Scorpion green or another bright green and it should be fine. as for da boss, some rust/dirt/mud effects would help out alot.

Da deff dread, also known as Alien resources project! Some deathskull boss looted it and sold it cheap to my boss after running out of grotz to keep it fed. It's still to prove as a profitable investment. At least it's good to get rid of gitz that don't care for the wellfare of the "krumpany". Still the pictures are bad. It's truly much darker than it appears on the pictures. I'll have to learn how to do it better.

Paint job is looking alright, I would possible suggest, however, I would suggest some brown or chestnut inking around the rivets bolts on the yellow, and add some battle damage overall.

As to the gold mask, I can't say I am a fan of it, I just dunno, just something about it.

Great start!

Job is well done...
like your colour decission, but like Gutsmek said... it needs some inks or..... washes, just a 1: 25 mix of some brown and water over it... then again some highlights with golden yellow.... -> fits winkingOrk.gif

Nah, I don't thin my paints. I use humbrol paints, not acrilics. No offense but I think acrilics are for kids! pphhtork.gif (I do use some vallejo paints, they are very nice, but only for highlights) I'm having a lot of problems with yellow over black basecoat, just like everybody. But I think I can make it work from here. Next I'll use white basecoat on a regular boy. Maybe it would work better. Using humbrol there is no real drawback to that. Anyway, this boss is just a placeholder until I can make my own scratchbuilt megaboss from corporate hell.

I used the golden mask, chains and kustom twinlinked shoota to make it obvious that this boss is very rich. Still it doesn't look right. Smaller chains could look better. I dunno...

its just that at this point your paint looks very thick.

I second that the colors are a bit lacking in depth, however...

I love the fluff. Enterprising Bad Moons are sweet. Might theme mine to be a sort of crime ring myself, so, a business, just less legitimate. Are you going to by any chance model some of your boyz in three piece suits? Certain stuff that suggested he's a businessork and not just any old Bad Moon git would be awesome. A top hat or fedora, perhaps?

The dread does seem cool but I think it just looks like a carnifex with a turret on its back, maybe some fluff could go well with it so people can understand it a bit better, because I don't really see an Ork riding a carnifex, fluff like: The Carnifex was raised by an Ork weird boy who had possessed it into becoming a slave to the Orks. Or you could, if you have time, splice it with a squig, as if a Dok has done some surgery!

I want to scratchbuild the boss and his meganob lawyers retinue. I just don't know exactly how to make mega armours look like a three piece suit. Black suitcases will be a must.

I wanted the carnifex to look just like that, a carnifex that someone brougth down and strapped a turret on his back. It's so heavy that the poor beast has to struggle just to keep standing. The pilot uses the chains and a grot prod directly stuck to the spinal cord to make it go where he wants.

From the best shootas that humie slaves can produce to the biggest and meanest squiggots you can raise in a panzee paradise. If you want to arm your waaagh, DA KRUMPANY is your best choice. We even got some left over stunties brewing the best fungus beer you will ever have!

Trying a new way to paint yellow. First I base coated in white, then I used a very light wash using sepia ink from vallejo game. After that I've applied a 1/6th wash using matt black (33) from humbrol on the recesses, taking a lot of care not to dirty the parts that are going to be yellow. It looks very good so far. I'll post more pictures as I advance.

Wow, that is one HUGE KFF! Maybe his left arm should be holding the controller for that massive device?
