The aflac arm looks odd, Im not sure if another length of arm or fore-arm or another joint in it might make it look more use-able ?
Then again once it gets teef and rivets i might change my tune, As the rest of the build looks amazing. Where is the smoke-stack in the back from ? Looks like GW plastic but i havent purchased any new ork vehicles yet so im unsure if its part of a kit. Cant wait to see paint on him, very nice to see stompa threads from start to end zooks |

Last night I added more armour plates, closed up most part wich were left open 'cause of the moving worky bits.
![]() ![]() I also started on the rear bigshoota. Tonight I want to close up the top and add a grot's head sticking out, who moves with the BS.

Thats one dead killy looking stompa. I might borrow some ideas for my next stompa.
The back-side looks very lacking in details, but I guess you are gonna do that later? I would suggest a small bridge-thingy with a small latter (prefebly a rope-latter) for the door at the back, so it leads to something. Oh, and you should call it Clamps. -------------------- "It is the misfortune of beings to be for us nothing else but useful showcases for the contents of our own minds."

Excellent build so far. I especially like your proportions, because stompas (like women) look all weird when their proportions are all wonky. The lifta droppa looks great too! One thing I always dissagreed with is that the stompa lifta droppa has the same stats as the supa lifta droppa from the great gargant. One questioned from me too, do you chop or your rivets of buy them as is?

Thanx all! Well the stairs are there.
The gatling was made out of Bic pens Hack slide chop that's how I do my bolts And yes the snapper will get teeth or at least dags on the side. I finished the rear bigshoota I only have to do some greenstufing on the grotgunner ... more armourplates ...and did some more work on the rear. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------- |

Mmmh the Snot? I think he came with new plastic Orc boss ... ???
Last night I added again more armour plates, did the dagz on the snapper and made it's attachment to the worky bits a bit bulkier(Reminder to myself: I still need to close up the sides of the little teeth) Now that the snapper is almost done I can start on it's pistons. I think I still need about 10 or so. ![]() ![]() ![]() I allways like the the workybitz glyph. -------------------- |

This is a great build. I love all of the little details. I'm always impressed when someone puts so much time and care into a build like this, it really shows. Makes me wish I'd put a little more time into my stompa. I see so many things I wish I would've done.
Keep up the good work. I think you'll get 'er dun by the end of the year. -------------------- Yoo kin pikk yer Warboss an' yoo kin pikk yer noze. But, yoo kant pikk yer Warbossez noze.

Great job all around. I especially like the work you have done with glyphs on the front & the fortress-like look of the head. Plenty of room to stick some riggaz & shooty boyz up there.
Good to hear you plan on adding some teef to the Snappa arm and kudos for picking the ultimate in underrepresented Orky CC. -------------------- |

Thanx! I really hope to finish it this year.
My mek gargant stands a 22cm at the moment and with his lifta droppa about 25 cm/10" ![]() ![]() ![]() Last night again I added more plates ... did a mek glyph to his arm and more pipes and stuff to the rear. ![]() "Check it out! I'm so glad you're back mekkin on this beauty. It's looking great, the large wrap around glyphs are excellent and all the worky bitz and weapons are well detailed.
What are the 'oomie wheels for in the feet? I've only got 2 small nitpicks - I think he could do with a bigger eyebrow and the snapper could do with bigger (and more bity looking) teef. Looking forward to seeing this finished. -------------------- Ork Town III - Terrain building competition, sponsored by Ramshackle Games.
