Greetings my Green Brothers, well here is my entry for the Ork Town comp. This is my first at this in all . I call it " GorGor's Brew Shack". I had a very, very small budget so I had to use what I had around the house. I hope you enjoy, cause I had a lotta fun building it.

GorGor, seems you have some problems here eh?
I've cut out your different attempts at getting piccies online, and I tried to check how you tried to upload them. Unfortunately, when I check the attachments to your posts, they are completely and utterly empty. Read the post Ug Thok linked you to and try again. If that still doens't work, PM me and I'll do my very best to help you out. It'd be a shame for you to miss out on the comp simply because you can't upload your works eh? Q -------------------- Roight, any questions?
Yes? Too bad! It be time to WAAAGH! Quase - ![]() |

Heh. Welcome to Ork Town, Gorgor. You may not think it's anything special, but I really like this build! A toilet float for a fermentation tank!

Welcome to Ork Town GorGor.
Glad you got your pics sorted, was worth the wait. I'll save my komments for the judging, and look forward to downing a few brews once the first batch is ready. -------------------- Ork Town III - Terrain building competition, sponsored by Ramshackle Games.

Nice build, happy to see it now! The gargant head is a really nice touch. You even got everything painted! Great use of bits, whats the boss gonna say when he finds out they are in a post apocolyptic outhouse -------------------- Easy Waaaghers

I'm very pleased you were able to at least link to your photos... well worth the wait! Good job!
Lotta little bits to look at, the unique build materials. I do especially like the boots thrown across the gylph/sign. Guzz -------------------- All opinions submitted are of an individual known as Big Mek Guzzlegutt, and not those of the-Waagh or members.

Hi all, thanks for the nice comments. I'll give you a little/long rundown of what I did. My budget was tight so I had to use my bits box ALOT and "liberate" items from the fridge. I was gonna make the whole Gargant head from foamboard like the jaw but decided to use the Butter container instead cause I liked the shape of it. I used cut out milk caps for the eyes as well. You should of seen my family's faces when I was taking stuff from the fridge for the project

Thanks for the great entry GorGor, now the komp's finished here's my komments:
Build I really like this entry, it’s got real character and looks like the sort of bar I’d gladly drink in. Great use of some interesting bitz (especially the float and syringe), well constructed and cleverly laid out to. The gargant head bar and krazy looking still are superb ideas and well executed too. My only nit-picks are that I’m not too keen on the base of the large tank (the legs look too weedy to me) and I’d have liked to see glyphs or a more beer related sign – you gotta advatize! Paint The paint scheme really suits the feel of the model and looks good to me. I especially like the weathered and beaten look to the gargant head and the green corrosion and leaks on the tanks. The fence round the still looks a bit uniform in colour, perhaps some tin bitz would help. I’d also like to see some dark green stains on the ground under the leaking barrels and tanks to add to the already impressive realism. Thread Not the best presented and most detailed thread but you did list your materials (glad you did as I wouldn’t have recognized some of them) and the pics are nice and clear. Using your bikes and boyz to show-off the build really gives it a sense of capturing moment in time in Ork Town. Would like to see some more pics, especially wide shots showing the whole scene. Bonus Full bonus points awarded for capturing a scene from Ork Town that makes this old Warboss feel happy. You also showed that free/cheap materials can be effectively combined into something that looks dead orky. Congratulations on winning the judge's secret discretionary prize - PM me your address and it'll be in the post as soon as the rivets are on. Thanks for joining Ork Town, I hope you’ve had fun and get plenty of use from your new terrain. -------------------- Ork Town III - Terrain building competition, sponsored by Ramshackle Games.
