My warband would look simular to Krum's starting one in his campaign, but since I have an extra troll, I was wondering what people here though of using the troll in mordheim? I don't see myself playing campaigns so this is more for one of's, is he worth taking in that format? What advice would you guys give for using one.
I have the BFSP troll and figured he might work here. Was also thinking of setting up the list with squigs/gobbo's to help give a few numbers. |

I dont see why not, ive faced them before, theyre not too much of a headache. A pain, but they dont make it unfair.
Have you actually got the profile for the troll, or were you going to use the ogre's profile? -------------------- Anatidaephobia: An irrational fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you.

I got it from the rules for the mob, I just took my troll out of my fantasy list so I need a home for him. Was thinking of using him both here and in bloodbowl.

I htink a troll's worth having in a long-term campaign because it can't be killed. So once you've paid for it you get to keep it forever and once you've earned soem more gc you can build up the rest fo the warband. But buying one for a one-off game only leaves 300 gc for the rest of the warband which means it will be small and badly equipped. For a one-off game I'd get as many ork boys as possible in the warband and forget the troll.

I've got to agree with Kiwi. He's a good addition to a warband (esp since he has the regen), but he's really worth it when you consider the long run.
