alright ladz the time has come to start up the minigame that will evolve into the LOKI space station. please bear with me as this is the first RPG i have run.
first some general rules. the story is open to anyone but events will be reported in the main story of the nazda system as well. as events that occur in the station will influence and be reported in the main story. there will be a limit of 5 members for each writers scouting squad. (up to five characters can be created) please. no Uber powerful neigh invincible scouts. if any turn up thye will be dealt with quickly and violently. this game is different from the nazda story in that it is possible that your characters will die. this is especially true if you (the players) continuosly do stupid things or try and take on things that are bigger than you. it is ok to run away. things willstart off bad and then get worse. you will possibly run out of amunition, will probably end up injured and maybe more than a little mad. not every thing on the station can be explained and not all of it is controled by those in charge. anyone in the system can join in, it isnt just orks that are curious as to what has happened to the station. when and if you meet up with other scout groups you can work together but you dont have to. battles are worked out by sending emails/PM's back and forth between the involved parties and myself. once the event has reaced a satisfactory conclusion i will post a full accounting of the battle in the story, detailing who it was that was fighting and then a quick note at the bottom about what happened after so that if they choose those involved can post their next lot of actions. or they can wait for the next update. mostly have fun. if you are a player that is not involved in the main story line please provide a reason and means for arriving at the LOKI. (how you found out about it, and how you got to it) any questions or the like please post them in the OOC: thread for the nazda system and i wil do my best to answer them. i will be trying to update the story for the station every two or three days, so everyone should have plenty of time to submit actions for character generation please write them up something like this. characters should be kept simple, as they are only a small group of scouts. please, try and keep it fluffy. character: joe blogg description: mr average. average height build, colouring etc. (description of the character) class: ooman, (what is the character. grot, ork, squig, chaos boy, beakie, cron etc.) primary skills:coffie drinkin. and accounting (any training etc they have had within reason) kommando, heavy gunner, dok, mek, goffic rokker, etc. secondary skills:pencil sharpening (other basic knoweldege the characters may have) first aid, computer skills, communications training, basic mek trainin, basic dok trainin, sneeky taktics, stormboy trainin. lootin skillz. (simple skills) equipment: pen pencil sharpener coffie grinder coffie cup thermos of hot water etc. what they have brought with them (keep it sensible.) background: just a paragraph or two detailing some history for the character, maybe a mention of things that make them uneasy etc. when all the characters for the squad have been written up, please include a breif section of fluff detailing how they found out about/ got to the station, as this may influence where you start off, in the staion. the space station is a large construct but the corridors are built for ooman scientests so expect it to be cramped conditions. i will be playing soley as gm & creature controller. so there will be no representation from the mizfitz. depending on how well i can get this running, will influence how long the game goes for. active authors. Fishead slackjaw mcgee Tin'ead jack Skinskull Nazmek Kanshuvva Shas O' Stahn fo'd skragbane warlord nazdreg guldakka the pirate leadbelcher KingBlackGrot Farseer Ziar active fiend authors. Nurgle reaper inactive authors. -------------------- one part cunning, one part wise and many, many parts demented
da nazda system as started by Fishhead Slackjaw Mcgee (game now sadly dead and buried.) Nazda ooc thread (for those intrested in the OOC side of things and for a bit more insight into what went on during the game.) Loki space station side game from nazda also run by me. da lurker is back |

It had been years since the LOKI space station was launched. it had originated from one of the planets at the far end of the nazda system. For years it had floated conducting research and experiments. There where several items of ancient technology that was being studied onboard and the experiments where classified. Then nearly a year and a half ago, the station had ceased communication’s with the rest of the system. It took 5 months for a team of investigators to get to the station, their job was to find out what was going on and what had happened to the crew, but they stopped communicating within hours of stepping onboard the ship, they had reported that all the communications arrays, radios, antenna and satellite dishes where still intact on the hull of the station, but after confirming that they had safely docked, and where heading inside, they hadn’t been heard from again. A second team was dispatched, and reached the station 5 months ago. Since then there has been no word and the nazda system has erupted into war.
The station has continued on its path through the system and is now approaching the asteroid belt, several of the warring races have picked up the large station on their scans of the system and small squads have been sent to investigate, one thing that all their scans have confirmed is that the life support system is beginning to break down and would be unable to host huge exploration teams. LOKI is waiting for those brave enough to come and try to uncover its secrets -------------------- one part cunning, one part wise and many, many parts demented

The Predator Kindred
character: Shaper Tarok Tor description: Tall, even for a kroot. He has black skin and a black beak. He has red, slightly luminescent eyes that reflect light like a cat's. Long, dextrous limbs, like all of his people. His Leather face mask is a very dark blue, and he wears dark purple beads in his spiky crest as a show of respect to his employer. Multiple scars class: Kroot primary skills: Stalking, hiding in the shadows. Mild psyker, good at psychological attacks. Can make people afraid of things they wouldn’t normally worry about Eg, he could make an ork disturbed by a decapitated ork head. secondary skills: Very intelligent, hard to scare or shock. Great senses and instincts, can see into the infra red spectrum (means he can see heat signatures. all kroot can!) equipment: Mind-link comms device (this device means that he and his team can hear, see, smell ect, each others thoughts, without making a sound. Efficient, but can get a little awkward) Combat knife Belt Decapitated heads (from different races, good for helping scare away any opposition) Silenced bolt pistol (silencer is not like the one we have today, but can work several times. Also, the ammunition that the Predator Kindred use does not explode, for obvious reasons. It only penetrates Flesh and weak armour.) Blue face mask Purple beads Guaga buds (when pinched, these buds secret a substance near identical to human blood in taste, texture smell and appearance. Good for writing on walls, or chewing) clamp on tellyporta beacon background: Shaper Tarok and his kin were bred for stalking and scouting. They are each deft assassins, and excel at the art of being hidden. They can see in absolute darkness, their own eyes being slightly luminescent, and often feel uneasy in the light, as humans feel uneasy in darkness. Shaper Tarok himself has led his small kindred down the path of the stalker for at least twenty years, and knows each of his kroot well. He signed them up as mercenaries for the Fishhead Empire for the money, and hasn’t seen a good reason to leave yet. He doesn’t like loud noises, but enjoys puzzles and games that involve the mind. His mind-link coupled with his psychic abilities means that he can retain communication with the FSM Waaagh komand Character: Kapter Tor Description: Medium height, for one of her race. Much like her shaper, but has no face mask. Purple and blue beads in spiky crest. Noticeable scar crossing one eye, and down to her beak, but many other scars as well. Class: Kroot Primary skills: Stalking, hiding in the shadows. Good computer skills Secondary skills: knows many different languages, both written and spoken. Is very technologically adept and can use nearly anything she finds as a weapon. Has a notably vicious streak. Good senses and instincts. Can see into the infra red spectrum Equipment: Mind-link Combat knife belt Silenced bolt pistol Purple and blue beads her fathers leg bone clamp on tellyporta beacon Background: Kapter Tor’s father was taken from her at a very young age in a hunting accident. She keeps his femur with her at all times. It is her most prized possession, but that doesn’t stop her from using it as a blunt object. A little sadistic, she takes great pleasure in the kill, even more so then the rest of her kindred. Will use knife in combat, but prefers to isolate her prey, then bite their heads off. Character: Naga Tor Description: medium height, for a kroot. Wears his dead mate’s skull and lower mandible as a helmet. Purple and blue Beads. Heavily scarred, but has one noticeable one going from shoulder to hip down his back. Class: Kroot Primary skills: Stalking, hiding in shadows. Marksmanship Secondary skills: good senses and instincts, good at quick-fix medical procedures. can see inot the infra red spectrum Equipment: Mind link Silenced Kroot hunting rifle (sniper rifle. His has two spikes, like a normal kroot rifle) Mates skull Purple and blue beads Belt Two bandoliers, containing ammo and frag grenades. clamp on tellyporta beacon las pistol cartridges Rations Metal leg Background: Naga Tor’s mate was killed by the Ordo Xeno’s. Thus, he actively discriminates against other races, especially humans. He likes to hunt from afar, and avoiding sweaty, noisy close combat. He will, however, isolate and break the neck of an enemy rather than waste ammo. He uses his grenades sparingly. Has the uncanny ability to find food and water. Name: Da Rekon Team Description: Greenskinned. They wear white labcoats over their purple shirts and blue jeans, and wear sunnies. Can usually be found carrying various test tubes and clip boards. Nob doesnt wear a lab coat, having little scientific interest. Class:Greenskins (grotz, snotz and a nob) Primary skills: Scientific reasearch, experimentation Secondary skills: Making sure nothing gets out of "Da kwarantine", stuffing their faces with squig'n'nid gumbo, xtreme pakork skillz Equipment: The reasearch class "Krab" vessel, "Da Finka" high security quarantine room with the capability to jettison unwanted guests that happen to appear inside into the ether. Lab coats soup bowls spoons pocket protectors pens and various test equipment Slugga's tellyporta rig Background: Da Rekon Team are an elite team of researcher and scientists. They transport the Predator Kindred around at Fishheads bidding, and collect and research anything they find, beaming it back onto the ship using tellyporta's. having lost members in the past, they know the importance of quarantine room safety, and each of them carries a slugga. They can often be found playing pakork while eating squig'n'nid gumbo if their is nothing to reasearch/shoot at The Predator Kindred was called in as soon as wind was caught of L.O.K.I. The Fishhead klan orks themselves being extremely poor scouts, being extremely prone to claustrophobia, panicking when they cant see an enemy, panicking when they dont have eleven or more mates behind them, punching holes in walls when bored... Either way, the Predator Kindred were tried and tested kroot, an elite that Fishhead only called up on rare occasions. This was mainly because their methods were...brutal. Now, coming from the mouth of an ork warlord this might sound rich, but the Predator Kindred were known for their ability to go in, do their job, and get out; trailing blood and decapitated bodies behind them. They had been bred on the strongest and stealthiest predators, they could see in the dark, their sences were keen. Their dark and menacing apearence struck fear into the weak hearted, and made it easy to disapear into shadow. Even other kroot found their precence unnerving, so the Predator Kindred kept to itself, and worked mostly alone. One the rare occasions when Fishhead wanted to play mind buggery with his opponent, these were the warriors he would call. It seemed now that, on a lonely, forgotten space shuttle, their was lost, valuable technology in the middle of an already tumultuous environment. The L.O.K.I Station had legends, told by his Palvain human servants, of how it contained horrors, monsters beyond the wildest imaginings. As always, when their were things that went bump in the night, Fishhead hired someone who could bump back harder. Shaper Tarok Tor sniffed the squigs corpse, then screeched his orders to his two followers in their barbaric, bestial native tongue "Eat, my kin. Fill your stomachs, but do not poison your spirit with that of this creature. Its hunt is to crude for us to make use for." The nob watching them grimaced as they devoured the juicy, plump squig. Their eating habits were enough to put off even an ork. He got over it, and coughed. Six glowing eyes turned to him. He knew that they could control the level of light their eyes put out, and that this was just a perverted method of drawing out fear. But despite his best intentions, he was afraid. "Is dere anyfing else you want?" The kroot turned to each other, and their shaper croaked and cawed his reply. The Female, Kapter Tor, the one with the huge scar across her eye and the leg bone hanging from her belt, gave their reply in perfect orkish. "No. That is sufficient. When do we hunt?" "Soon. An' stop starin at me like dat!" The nob watched as their creepy red eyes bored into his soul. He waved a bulky green hand at them, and walked away. using the devices implanet into their heads, the kroot conferred mentally with each other orknobbig afraidfear. greatlybig worried itheshe. employerheyes. orksthinknofearafraid. squigtastyyumgood. Tarok and Naga, the shaper and the skull wearing marksman turned their near pitch black heads towards the third member of their party. "What?" she hissed back. Their was a thump, and then a hiss. A door behind them opened into a small, metalic coridor. the lights were flickering, and their were strange smells in the air. "Doors open birdies. Welcome to L.O.K.I" two sets of doors closed behind them, and they heard the small Krab vessel roar away. The nob recoiled. The device that that painboy had implanted in his brain began to work, and he could here voices in his head. Their complex, dark and shifting minds contrasted to his own, simple, straight forward one. wheregoleav youitheshenob? Character: Kronus
Description: Around seven foot tall, with chameleoline that can deactivate interwoven into his skin. Can speak. Has rather dull khaki coloured eyes, but of course they are interwoven with chameleoline too. The chameleoline technology was taken from the Eld.ar long ago. It would read his surroundings, and display whatever was behind the wearer; essentially, it made them invisable. However, it will only function if he stands still for two or three seconds, to give the chameleoline time to adjust; if they were moving, it would show a glance that would stick for three seconds, then change, making it basically useless. Class: Pariah Primary Skills: Espionage, (to put it in Ork terms) Tankbusting and mind reading to some level. Great in a fight. Secondary Skills: Induces fear, and psychic blocking Equipment: Gauss Blaster inbuilt into his arm, plus retractable Wolverine-style warscythe-sharp claws in both hands. Background: Kronus used to be an panzee rogue pirate. After a sequence of events he does not usually deign necessary to reveal, he became first on the agenda of a particular force of Blood Angels. So, he fled, but the Blood Angels were always closing in. Eventually he came to a planet that had been conquered by the Necrons of Estoc Prime, although he didn’t know it then. It happened that when the Blood Angels landed a chase scene evolved, and only then did he discover the entry to a Necron structure. Throwing caution to the winds, he rushed in, hoping that the Space Marin.es would not follow. He assumed correctly, however was captured by Khufu’s wraiths. He was taken to Setnekhem, and after some time, actually asked to become a Pariah, with as much of his sentience intact as was possible. So it happened, and Kronus became a Pariah. After some time, it was discovered that in addition to the common fear inducing and psychic blocking of any pariah, Kronus could sense concepts in enemy minds to some degree, and their quantities, for example afraid or a little bit curious but mainly enraged. Character: Codex Description: Large for a scarab, around the size of a soccer ball. Can curl up into a nigh-impregnable sphere something like an armadillo, but with his dull khaki eyes on the outside. The same deactivate-able chameleoline is interwoven into his outside, so that it functions properly only in his curled up state. Has a telepathic link with Kronus. Class: Scarab Primary Skills: Computer hacking, scientific analysis, exceptionally accurate with his Gauss Sniper Secondary Skills: Has multiple planes of vision: light, ultraviolet, infrared, heat, night vision, radiation sensing. Also good for on-the-spot repair. Equipment: A range of scientific apparel, and a gauss sniping weapon. Background: Codex accompanies Kronus as an appliance. He has extremely sophisticated, accurate and sensitive scientific apparel within him and is exceptionally skilled at identifying materials. No password is secure where he is involved, nor any firewall: he can run every possible combination of up to one thousand symbols in under three seconds. He has a link into Kronus' mind, so he can instantly convey any learnt information. He is also used for repair in the heat of battle, but can also defend himself with his claws and some… dubious scientific apparatus. The Jackal flew in and latched onto the space station. A Necron warrior nodded to Kronus, who nodded back. Codex floated in, hovering over his shoulder. The door opened, and Kronus unsheathed his claws. He quickly cut a hole in the side of the ship, and walked inside. Once inside, he checked the location. It seemed they were in a corridor of some sort. The Necrons sealed the opening behind them, and the Jackal left. Kronus looked over to Codex, who was checking the air around them. Many numbers flew across his mind. It was hospitable by all known species, but artificial: hypothesis, life support system. Codex curled into a ball, and activated his chameleoline. In seconds, he could not be seen. He lay flat on the floor, which was thankfully all plain white except for a blue line down the middle. Keeping away from the blue line, Kronus did did the same, getting as flat on the floor as possible, and turning on his chameleoline. They were both turned completely white. The two of them began to wriggle along, almost silently, but with the slightest sound of metal on metal. It was a highly disturbing and eerie noise, if you heard it. Kronus prepared his gauss blaster, ready to fire if he found something with malicious or violent intent. -------------------- The hordes of Unlife shall rise once more... and take one look at the Orks and go back to sleep.

Deep in the bowels of the station a computer whirred to life and a monitor lit up. There was life aboard the station again, and the time to ‘entertain’ the guests was quickly drawing near. Hitting a series of switches other terminals came slowly to life and cameras all around the station started recording once again. Doors where shut, security systems activated and other measures taken, grinning to itself the entity thought *let the games begin* and once more took up its watch over the events that would unfold.
In the middle of the hallway where the necron constructs had entered was a thick blue line that wound its way through the section of the station they where in, till unbeknownst to them it terminated at an airlock door. In the corner of the corridor where the necrons had entered a camera whirred to life and the active light blinked on, the corridor was mostly bare apart from the line running down the middle of the white floor, the walls, floor and roof in the hall are all white. Down the corridor in front of the necrons there are doors on the left and right. Aside from the electrical whirring of the camera no other sounds can be heard. The corridor is mostly unlighted, with only a small flashing emergence lights spaced evenly along the roof illuminating the area around it. The hunter kindred surveyed the airlock they where in. it was small, there where two doors, one they had just come through and the other was directly in front of them, the floor was plain metal with a mesh overlaying it, the walls where plain with emergency stripes marking the walls closet to the doors and the words AIRLOCK ALPHA could be made out through the gloom. The lighting was poor with lighting strips at ground level and an emergency light in the roof providing minimum illumination. In the corner of the room there was a small camera bulb mounted, as they watched a tiny red light winked on inside the globe. Next to the door in front of them was a panel with a button glowing dull red on it. "One door, no choice" Tarok thought to his kin as they studied the camera." Their is someone at the other end of this camera, i can feel it.
The other two looked to each other. They knew not the question their shapers psyckic instincts. "We are being watched. We are the hunters. He is the hunted now. We talk only in our heads. And I will have his. I know not where he is, but their should be smell somewhere... We will find him." His eyes flashed into the camera, and hissed. "We take the path given to us. We move silently and we stick to the shadows." The three kroot wandered the dark passageways, the path lit only by the lumanescence of their own eyes and of the flickering, flashing lights. Naga was nervous. Their were strange heat signals all around him. He could not see light, but his hearing and smell was good enough to know where to put his feet. Strange heat, noise...and the smell. It was rank, oils, lubrication. Not a trace of flesh, or vegetation. No food. "I can sence no food, no water. Not yet, but their are strange sents and heat." "we can smell it too, we can here the howling, the grinding of gears. The pumping of pistons...and other things." the shaper thought back to his companion. "But do not forget. We are those who create fear, so we have no reason to be afraid. Still, make sure you have plenty of spare ammunition." -------------------- For da Greena Good!

"Sh." said Grimdakka, silencing Kalib and Grok who were plotting what to do next. "I 'ear the sound of metel scraping against metel it's close and it's getting closer, I fin-" he was cut short by a loud groning that clearly came from a ways away but was very, very loud, loud enough for all of them to hear.

((Occ: sorry guys, I am leaving for the week (Boy scouts) so for references I am standing in the airlock, all weapons pointed at the door. So if any one comes in I fire.))
They all had worried looks on their faces, Grok stood in a corner practically invisable, big shoota pointed at the door, Kalib was puffing heavily on a cigar, power claw turned up to full power long sword like choppa out and ready, and Grimdakka had five frag stikkbombz out ready to rip out the pins listening for the slightest sound but all he heard was the sound of metel against metel steadly growing louder. -------------------- Naz.

Kronus stopped dead. He had heard a space ship come in, and now heavy footsteps had pounded along the ground he was lying on. He knew that even an ork that close would have heard him wriggling. His eyes glanced over to Codex, who had also stopped dead for the same reason. With absolute silence, his right hand collapsed into his arm, and the end of a gauss blaster emerged from his wrist. No sound was made, and nothing could be seen. With absolute caution not to give off a psychic reading, he focussed on the curiousity a distance from him. There were three distinct minds there, most of which had a distinct sense of, "Right. Now what do we do." Searching deeper, he could feel that none of them had anything psychic about them, other than the residual WAAAGH! energy, so they were clearly orks. He internally was content as he began to feel a primal, instinctive fear leech into them. Already the fear that simply bled from him was sinking in. Of course, he could feel their caution levels rising as well, but that was only natural. Now, he had to lie still, and if things did get awkward, there was the door just a few feet away on his left that had a string of numbers on it, as well as the words, "WARNING: COLD STORAGE. PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO EXTREME TEMPERATURES MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY." He knew that he would have no issue with such matters, other than a chance of frost forming and making his chameleoline guise incomplete, but that was a risk he could take.

Character: Tinboy 29
Description: A battered and ill-maintained tinboy. About eight feet tall. Almost all mechanical bitz exposed (see background). Class: Automaton Primary skills: bashing fings (note: every movement tinboy 29 makes is very loud. he has no stealth capability whatsoever) Secondary skills: Won't die in a vacuum, very tough Equipment: Kustom plasma boiler, hydrawlik bitz, shoota, smashin' fist, built-in scanners (most of which aren't working well), absolutely no spare plasma batteries, tankbusta bombz, roboty widgets of miscellaneous sorts (mostly malfunctioning), ammo Background: One of a larger team of tinboyz dispatched to every body in the Nazda system. Unfortunately, problems with drop-pod (or in tinboy 29's case, boarding torpedo) engines caused most of the tinboyz never to reach their destinations or take much longer to do so. Tinboy 29 sacrificed the other two tinboyz in his torpedo and bitz of himself to keep the engine running, and as a result is not in very good working condition at all. He has stripped off most of his extra armor and used all his plasma batteries. Tinboy 29's boarding torpedo slammed into the side of the ship with an extremely loud thud. The burna completed its circuit Tinboy 29 kicked out the circular bit of wall between him and the hulk and fell into the hulk with a deafening crash. He (as much a masculine being as all orks) evaluated his situation. His system check turned up fifty nine malfunctioning minor systems and one major (his left eye). Any inhabitants of the hulk in his immediate area were sure to be aware of his presence now. He loaded his shoota and set out into a corridor. (Note: I have tried to make my tinboy scout team as weakened as possible. He should be about as powerful as {edit:the late} J'kar) -------------------- |

((ooc: ziar, i take it from the lack of entry into the station that that is just the intro for your characters. so as such i wont treat them like they are inside the station yet. we will say fer arguments sake that the panzee folk have put them +whoevere else you might be introducing in a shuttle and it is on its way. i wont kill off characters that are properly holed up. and i dont just kill of characters if i have been told of a reason that they arnt posting. it will take a full week of not posting on their controlers half, without any given reason for me to begin the process of killing them off. and then it will probably be another 2 updates before they are properly krumped. so there is about a 12 day period of grace for non active posters that arnt involved in a fire fight/ or CC with anything.
nazdregs characters will probably be sealed into the airlock by the watcher untill they return. i will occasionaly mention them eating telling jokes, passing the time, that kinda thing but they currently arent making any active effort to open either of the doors. Nazmek is it alright if i randomly determin what section of the station you have breached? is it a full breach i.e. atmosphere and oxygen leaking into space? or has your torpedo thingy sealed the hole that was created by your entry? guys. at skinskulls request i am terminating the existance of his character, so that he can introduce a propper squad. i will post an update later today covering the squads that people have inserted, and detailing their surrounds. )) -------------------- one part cunning, one part wise and many, many parts demented

You may determine what part my tinboy has arrived through (he doesn't quite know yet anyways). The hole is sealed airtight.

“the watcher” was momentarily unsure of how events where unfolding. It had thought that all the re-animates had been confined, but No, there was one wandering loose in one of the sections of the station. Deciding quickly how to deal with the situation before any of the ‘guests’ became suspicious, a series of commands where given. As the re-animate paused in a doorway to scent the environs around it, the door slid shut with a small pneumatic ‘hiss’ effectively slicing the re-animate in half. For a minute the two halves twitched as they slid down the door, but then it was as though the body realized it was dead, and it stopped moving. Another set of commands where given and the door reopened and several cleaning botz whizzed out of their hidden alcoves, and cleared away the pieces of the body, then they returned to their alcoves and the wall segments slid back into place. Content for now that the situation would remain neutral the watcher cycled through the camera feeds, the Kroot had left the alpha airlock, Airlock beta was still empty, Airlock Gamma was likewise empty, Airlock delta was occupied by three large Orks all poised on the brink of spontaneous violence. Switching to the hallway view, the corridors directly outside the airlocks where scanned for movement, had there been a slight shimmer near the cold storage rooms, No, it was dismissed as still adjusting after so long inactive. This annoyed the watcher that theses scouts where going to destroy perfectly maintained corridors for no reason, annoyed at this commands where given that caused a secondary set of doors to close over in front of the airlock exit to prevent the Orks from seeing out through the observation portal. The necrons had disappeared, but they would turn up again. Airlock Epsilon, was also empty. Although there where additional lights flashing in the halls indicating impacts in that section. Curious the watcher disengaged the limitations on the cameras and sat back enjoying the show of rooms and halls as they flashed past on the displays.
The hunter kindred where wandering down the hallways of section Alpha, things here, when the illumination allowed it to be noted where mainly shades of green. They had passed few doorways but the corridor was wide and clean, with a thin brown line running up the middle of the floor, they approached a fork in the hallway and the line divided, going right the line stayed brown, going left it turned blue. Directly ahead of them was a large open room. The floor was carpeted and there where several inactivate lights hanging from the roof, so the only light was the emergency strips running along the top of the room. There where couches gathered to the left side of the room with a small table covered in clutter in the middle of them, the couches where facing a large deactivated screen. A large shut cabinet was against the far wall, with several stools and a large long bench in front of it. On the right side was a cluster of beanbags and several large cases. and closest to them was a triplet of pool tables. There where also several open doorways along the various walls. In each of the corners of the roof the kindred spotted the tiny twinkling of the camera bulbs. Looking down the hall they had just come up, and then down the two corridors the kindred noted a similar glimmer at roof level, as well as several dull red glowing patches down the halls, though the gloom quickly swallowed all the details. They paused to confer among themselves as to what the best course of action might be. In section beta there was no movement as the cameras cycled through. Section gamma showed all the access points to still be secured and the rest of the cameras where inactive. In delta section the blast doors had finished closing with a thud that resounded through the hallways of the sector. The orks in the airlock, now effectively trapped there, set about looking round the small airlock in dismay, having spotting nothing of use or immediate threat to them they began entertaining themselves and trying to figure a way out of the airlock.. The necrons that had been in the section had disappeared from camera view but they had been headed towards the airlock and the cold storage section, there was a large freezer in the area, and several other rooms, opposite the cold storage room was a room marked examination 3 in large letters but the flashing lights combined with the pressing dark made it hard to tell if there was any further text, the blue line continued past the doors. Epsilon sector was a mess, there where klaxon lights rotating wildly, running a diagnostic the watcher determined this was due to a breach in the outer wall of the station. The breach had sealed itself however, curious as to how this had occurred, the cameras where cycled through till it showed the one in question. A large opening now replaced a segment of the windowed wall standing in front of the opening was a tinboy, it was busy applying the finishing welds to close the breach that its craft had created upon entering the station. Hitting a switch the klaxons where de-activated by the watcher. The hallway that the tinboy was in fell silent as the alarms faded and grew dark as the lights went back to emergency level lighting, the fading light revealed the walls to be brown, with a green line leading off into the distance. There was one door, that the Tinboy could see down the corridor to its left, a tiny red glint betrayed the presence of the camera to the tinboy and it sat contemplating. Elsewhere in the same sector real-space was momentarily distorted and the cameras cutout briefly, when they turned back on the section they where showing was a large maintenance hanger full of dismantled and spare machines, at one end was a large set of blast doors, written above them where the barley readable words AIRLOCK #2 EPSILON. The huge hanger had several doors, three in each of the long walls, one at midpoint and the other either end. At the far end of the hanger was another door. lining one of the walls was a series of maintenance bays, most of which held damaged robots, the center of the hanger was dominated by piles of machine parts, and the other wall was lined with benches containing various blueprints, posters, and tools. Emerging from the airlock was a large mutant creature with one huge arm and what looked like a tentacle for the other. It entered the hanger and paused to consider its surrounds. The watcher made notes of the location of the guests and what measures would need to be taken should thing progress badly. It would soon be time to introduce them to some of the “residents”. To make things interesting for the ‘guests’ the watcher activated an audio loop that played quietly over the internal comms system, all throughout the first level of the station. It consisted mainly of howling, the grinding of gears. The pumping of pistons...and other less easily identifiable things. Setting the cameras back to scanning the watcher returned to its post, to see what would happen next. (OOC: if anyone has questions and the like please PM me, and I will start an ooc thread for questions and chatter. Other players feel free to join in. please post your character information first and then a small intro as to how you got to the station.
