First of all - THIS SITE IS FRAKKIN AWESOME! Very nicely done!

I played GK and 'umie for a while and kept getting stomped by the boyz. So I decided to become the thing I feared. Now my GK and 'umie are gone and I'm not looking back! Once you go green there is no going back. There is only one codex... ORKS! All other codexes are beakies or wanna be beakies. There isn't a unit in the codex I don't want to build. Every time I see an 'umie tank I think of how it would look if it were looted. I take prescription drugs just so I can use the pill bottles to make a kustom Deffrolla. Everything I see nowadays I see can be reused to make something else - a spikey thing for a trukk, some Orky terrain, bits for a scratch-built meganob.

I have an addiction and I'm liking it! Glad to be among fellow fungi who I know won't try to cure this addiction. cheers.gif

Ello all youz guyz. Iz new to 'is ere site, but not tooz 'is ere game.

Anyway, the reason I am collecting this army is because it is one of the last armies I have never collected/owned at some point in time, so I figured it was about time to start. Im setting a challenge for myself in building this army though. I am attempting to build the entire army through nothing but trades, converting and scratchbuilding. This will be a daunting task to say the least, but I have a good start on it already. I have traded for 53 AoRB boys, 15 AoBR Nobs, a warboss, 11 dethcoptas, 10 lootas, 5 kommandos, 6 burnas, big mek, snikrot, and gazzy. And Im still looking out for more trades on all the sites I am on.

This is gonna be a slow project based on what I can get a hold of model wise, but also doing a little bit of commission painting on the side where I can. I am looking forward to sharing the build with all of you as it progresses as well. I have been playing this game since late 95/early 96 while I was in the beakie Corp and have continued it until now. Its hard to get a game in for me, since the closest store(s) are about 1 hour away and nobody around here plays the game anymore. They have all switched to Warmachine/Horde and other skirmish games.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing new projects here that I can get ideas from as well as share any knowledge that I have as well.

how do all, as the name states, im Orky Dave. iv played Orks a few years to many some might say and i have rather a collection of madcap inventions. some of you may know me from my old account on hear (stompy mek boy) but i have decided to re invent myself. im best know for the Kong family, a group of gorilla robots that terrorise the north of England.

i'm based in Manchester and accept commissions on a regular basis to supplement my drinking money, this includes all sorts not just orks although i'm happy to make ork models at a discount.

at the moment i'm affiliated with VAGUE the Manchester MET role pay and war gaming society.

fancy a natter give me a shout , i'm gonna be posting things up in the meks garage asap.

P.S. im dyslexic, its not an excuse but its the reason why i may not of caught all the spelling mistakes

Hello all. I have been playing GW games off and on for about 25-is years now. I have an Ork army for 40k that I've had since 3rd edition but haven't played in the current edition. I'm a regular WFB player but do not have an Ork army for it. Where my true Orkiness lies is in my love of GorkaMorka. I've played GorkaMorka since it's release, whenever I could get a campaign together. I absolutely love painting and modeling orks, they have so much personality and room for creativity. I'm looking forward to discussing campaign ideas, custom rules and painting/converting with the lot of you.

Hello all!

I'm just starting off with Orks, but I have been playing 40k since 1998. I have a fairly large beakie army but I have recently decided to make my own Waaaagghhh!
I currently live in South Carolina where honestly the only opponent I have ever played is my brother. (Fail I know) But I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and learning some new tricks of the trade from you pros!

May Gork be with us all,

Nice to meet you, Boyz!
After years spent in lurking, I'm glad to introduce myself and my works.
I'm from Italy (be patient if my english sometimes fails or isn't clear enough!) and, despite my 36 years, I'm newbie in modelling and in warhammer game.
I'll be happy to receive your opinions about my models: see you soon in Mek Garage!

Hello. I go by Trench, and I like to draw orks.

Unfortunately, I don't really know if this forum has a good place for me to demonstrate that. Either way, if anybody would like some pictorial help with planning out a model, let me know.

Howdy All Junkyork here reporting in.
Been a big fan of orks and I've been playing them since middle school. Lurked this site forever and figured its time to sign up. I frequent DakkaDakka a lot but with this site more ork oriented I figure I will feel right at home here. Planning to get back to work on my orks which have shrunken In size over the years. Time to get stuck in...WAAAGH!

Hello Members of the Waaagh!,

new member here , and new Ork player as well. I already play 40k for several years , I have 2 finished armies, Tyranids and Blood Angels and after many discussions with friends I decided that the Orks were the next logical step for me!

Haven't played a single game yet , I just bought a pack of Nobz and Lootaz/Burnas , as well as arranging to relieve some fellow wargamers from their AoBR Orks....for a very cheap price.

I found this website when googling about " Custom made Meganobz " and I found some pretty awesome tutorials , and I came to appreciate this board very much. I am looking forward to find some advice and inspiration for my soon-to-begin ork force.

May the power of Gork and Mork be with you all! cheers.gif

Having and endless tide of green muscle and rusted contraptions stumbling across a blood-drenced battlefield is a sight to behold indeed. As Joseph Stalin said " Quantity has some quality all its own " and that quote seems to fit the Ork race in a horribly large degree....

Ello all, an oooold ork player here - they were my very first 40k army, back when 3rd ed was the new kid on the block. I traded away all my orks a few years back for some beastmen, a decision I've regretted since, but now I've got a few more teef in da squiggybank I reckon it's time to start em up again thumbs.gif

I guess I'd better tell you all a few things 'bout me... I'm English, an avid metalhead, a tyranid and panzee player, and I hate beakies. They just bore me, ok? crybaby.gif

Glad to be here! (and I love the smilies cheers.gif )

Hello everyone. I am quite new to Warhammer and after buying The assault on black reach, a ork battleforce and getting a few pieces of my uncle I have decided to start playing. Looking forward to learning how to play my mob of Green skins and crush some skullz.

A little bit about me then; From England, like music like Kasabian, RHCP, Oasis and stuff like that. Yeah, enough said.

Somehow I missed this thread when I joined up... hmmm.

Hello all, I've been a long time lurker of The-WAAAGH and just starting getting into posting. I started playing 40k in highschool but lack of cash made the whole experience sort of half-hearted. So now here I am four years later I'm picking the boys back up hopefully in time to head over to Cambridge for a krumpin' or two. I'm a big fan of Kan Wall/Dreadbash armies and am always on the look out for inspiration.

About me, my wife and I live in never-sunny Boston and are both avid gamers so my new army will have to compete with Skyrim. biggrin2.gif
I'm a huge nerd and often try to overload my senses daily with intake of movies, music, books, games, and pictures. So it goes. That's about it for me, see you around, boyz and galz.
