So I was searching the interwebs for conversion ideas for my new Ork army... low and behold I stumbled into the Meks Klassics. I spent the next week and a half just looking and admiring all the prettys and gubbins. So I've decided to take a longer look see at the other boards too. Ah heck, maybe I'll even post. ~Blitzkraga

I wanted to play orks and was looking for a good way to start and some of my friends on the tin'ead forums that I frequent (being a player of crons) suggested I set up gorkamorka. What all do I need? I'm excited to become one of the boyz! cheers.gif

Just bought 1500 points of Orks and so far am loving painting them vs. painting smegging power armour. Soon to be fighting against an 'umie army that will be built to beat me so found this place to get some counter-intel and WIP it up!

Hey there, checking in from New York. I just started with 40k and I'm working on building up my ork army. A lot of my googled questions wound up bringing me to The Waaagh so I figured I should make an account. Now to post some of my crappy vehicles and see what kind of feedback I can get!

Oi, new git checkin in from Florida. Lurked for a while, figured I'd sign up. I started with orks way back in '01, but lack of moneys kept me from actually doing anything. About a year ago, I picked up the game again and figured, why not give it another try.

Now I'm hooked.

I scratch build and convert most of my stuff, so keep an eye out for some neat things. What I lack in skill I make up for in creativity. I have a reputation for having an eye for orkyness thumbs.gif

When modeling all things orky, there is no such thing as screwing up...

If you cut yourself building models, you have two options. Wrap it in a bandage and let it heal before getting back to work, or fill the gap with superglue and keep going. Now before you decide, stop and ask yourself...

What would Grotsnik do?

Lissen up ya grot-lovin' orks! I'm back!.

Back onto the serious side, after being snuffed away by real life and unable to start collectin' me Waagh, I'm coming back to Warhammer 40.000 in force. smilingOrk.gif While I have no models collected yet, i'll start slow, no need ta' rush or anything.

I've placed my order for a Nob Squad, Warboss and my colour paints. I don't claim to know much of taktiks and strategy, yet I'm willing to experiment with the Boyz. Rumor is there's some tuff enemies to crack, so i'm willin' ta' have a go!

cheers.gif A big cheers ta' all th' ladz out there!

Oomans are pink and soft, not tough and green like da Boyz. They'z all the same size too, so they'z always arguing about who's in charge, 'cos there's no way of telling 'cept fer badges an' ooniforms and fings. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me" or "I know summink wot you lot don't so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da uvver arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. Wot a lot of mukkin 'bout if yer ask me. An' while they'z all arguin' wiv each other over who's da boss, da Orks can clobber da lot.

I collect orks and love to customize, orks are the best army in the world. My most satisfying moment was when I used old zogwort to destroy a crons players heart crybaby.gif by turning the night bringer into a sguig.

Decided to get back into 40K after a 10 year break and want to play an army i haven't before so time for the big green.

Long time War hammer Fantasy Player and of course WOW Crack, but i am going to work on a Clan Snakebite or Feral Ork Waagh, depending on the codex, i intend to mix orcs from fantasy with Orks from 40K, hoping it works out.

Hi All!

I've just started down the road of the all Grot army. Since my normal foruns are down for a while I found this place. Looks like a fun place, but confusing, as the main board index says there's like 10k posts in the 40k board, but i only see two pages of posts.

Hey Boyz! A long time Ork player from QLD Australia. Put together my first Ork in 1995 and never looked back. Tried a few other armies along the way but the power of the Waaagh! always pulled me back. I only play Orks now and wont touch any other armies, Orks always give me plenty to do. thumbs.gif

Hello,

I've been playing 40k since the begining of 3rd edition, and can say orks have always held an interest to me, though I started out with 'umie (550 gaurdsmen and counting) I had bought a random box of boyz here and there, especially when they came 16 to a box. Now I can say after my 10th anniversary of playing, I have my ork army.. started... I only have 120 boyz. I need moar. smilingOrk.gif
